This is an old 2005 recording I have of Gerry House and the House Foundation joking around about Nashville's iconic and beloved weatherman Bill Hall on the day he was scheduled to do his last forecast. Bill Hall retired from WSMV Channel 4 in 2005 and sadly passed away in 2006. I have this recording because the station was kind of enough to email it to me on the day it aired.
I would sometimes have my alarm radio set to WSIX in the morning and I can remember laying in bed and hearing this segment of the show and just dying laughing (particularly the part about Nancy VanCamp and Snowbird). I emailed WSIX later that day and asked if I could get a copy of it.
This represents a part of Nashville that I dearly miss. I grew up as a kid watching Bill Hall and just absolutely loved watching his "Snow Bird Report". I would be so joyful when he said with his great voice, "..and Williamson County Schools are closed..." I also grew up listening to Gerry House and the House Foundation every single weekday morning. I have actually multiple times contacted the station, almost to the point of begging, trying to find out if old recordings of full shows exist and if they could be released to the public. As far as I can tell, there is only one full show online. You can hear it here in 4 parts. It appears Mike Bohan himself uploaded them.

If anybody else by chance has or knows of where full shows of the House Foundation can be found, PLEASE let me know!!
(by the way, this was when the House Foundation was still at it's best when it's main people were Gerry House, Mike Bohan, Al Voecks, and Duncan Stewart)
