I like receiving these calls when I have time to waste. I know it’s a scam but I’ll go along with their game as long as I can keep them on the line. I’ll stall and ask them to repeat things or hold on while I look for something or give them a wrong name, number, address or whatever it takes. When it goes as far as them wanting credit card information I’ll give them a fake one. When they realize it’s fake I tell them to hold on until I find another card. I know that as long as they’re talking to me they’re not able to scam someone else. Eventually they’ll get frustrated and hang up. I think the longest I’ve had someone on the line is 35 minutes.

someone once told me they responded to these scam callers acting extremely excited to talk to them and utilize their services, then asked them to hold on while they went and got their actual paperwork. only to simply put the phone down and go back to watching tv or whatever they were doing at the time! scammers would sit on hold much longer thinking they had a good chance at success!

@TimeshareUsersGroup Hello, I've been a timeshare owner for 20 years and absolutely love it. I paid 5k initially for it in key west Florida I currently pay 800 a year for maintenance fees, but it used to be much lower. I can travel 2 weeks a year to anywhere in the world. Maybe I got lucky??😊

@@staytight6340 5k is certainly far less than the average retail price, especially 20 years ago! kudos for making a great decision that has clearly paid off for you allowing you 20+ years of vacations!
