I was one of the simplest one no need to learn formulae if you know the basic things

x2-64 It's factors can be calculated by zero method of factorisation Put x=8 to get above expression as zero So, (x-8) is one it,s factor To get another one we do as follows x2-64 =x2-8x+8x-64 =x(x-8)+8(x-8) =(x-8)(x+8) These are the two factors of above given expression. Thank you 😅

I don’t understand how this will get you an A, this is just a extremely simple factoring question that I solved the second I saw it.

Yes this is true, and infact this popped up on my GEOMETRY practice test. I managed to solve it correct and it asked for the radius. Here's the equation x^2+y^2-10x+8y+16

There are different parts. This video is part 6. Each individual part may not help much, but collectively, it slowly tells you all of the things you need to know

If that gets an A in algebra in your country then i would have an PHD by now in maths 😂

How exactly? Knowing fundamental concepts are useful in solving more advanced problems. So applying more basics concepts like this to more complex problems (which will obviously have a multitude of concepts thrown in) will indeed help you get more correct answers. Snarky comments like this are always incredibly annoying, especially when people like you seem to not understand how to look at the bigger picture. It's literally the 6th video in a series of "how to get an A in algebra" and while I think the title is a bit misleading (b/c it just teaches basic concepts) the information is still valuable. 😐 So please, next time you decide your self esteem is too low and need to raise it by commenting on YT, take it elsewhere because this is embarrassing 🥶

What do you mean

@@mikehenry9672 He is basically saying to turn the expression into an equation saying 0=x^2 - 64 then add 64 to both sides to get 64=x^2. Then square root both sides to get (+/-)8=x which you can turn back into factors like in the video, (x+8)(x-8).
