Brian leaning into Chaos is some top tier coaching. Letting Doki lean into the gimmicks and degen strats honestly feels like it was key in a lot of Doki's success yesterday, lets her have a lot of fun, and is honestly just content gold.

Its honestly like a boxing coach would - you need to account for your fighters skills too or natural talents/mindset. They'll perform that part better than you would since you aren't comfortable in that corner.

Brian F saying mashing not working is debatable because bis idea of mashing is different. Dokibird means literally doing random inputs combined with random directions does more in Tekken cuz a random move comes out most of the time. Brian F thinks mashing is like pressing on wakeup or continually pressing the same options and hitting buttons on defence.
@Mr_Archer15

I think Brian understood what she meant so he explained mashing in a way that she would understand. Like he said mashing random buttons in this game isn’t effective so he taught her how to mash.

Thing I like about Brian is that he tailors the info to the person and what they're gonna be up against. It feels like he actually wants the person to have fun and learn in their own way. Signs of a great teacher, 💯

Wong to thank for bringing the community ever closer to our virtual wonderland. Hope your team does well in the full tournament and let me be one to say welcome to the rabbit hole, enjoy your stay.

Im not an FGC player but she seems ready. Having Plan A, plan B and forcing others to adapt is like the brueprint for me back then when I play pvp oriented games. Her offence is really deadly. 4 grabs. Thats all she needs too. The first day also showed how her style is making every other person on her division lose their soul with her habbit of waiting for her lvl3.

I definitely agree on Modern being weird. I always feel Modern to be unwieldy and convoluted, in large part due to the Assist button shenanigans. And people wonder why I always call Tachikawa a masochist for playing Modern Ed at that high level of play ON A LEVERLESS, no less... It's not like he makes use of autocombos and simple inputs 90% of the time either. He's pretty much playing a handicapped Classic.

Down medium punch for lariat WHY? I get modern is meant to help those who wanna learn the game but classic lariat is literally two punches
@Axonn1018
10 күн бұрын
Think they meant to say Down + Special button. You can also do 2 Buttons for manual input as well. I believe Ken's run on Modern can only be done with 2 button input too.
