Could you make a video about mistakes in macroplays for beginners? I see a lot of frontline characters picking up the spike and getting killed deep in enemy side and sometimes our group on attack splits up and i'm just not sure on what the better strategies usually are. Same goes for defense when sometimes the whole team concentrates defending a single point, should you split and try to scout the other point down or what?

You don’t and most often you’re still silent due to the sound only triggering after a certain distance. But in the beginning you’ll probably be heard doing it due to lack of skill. My rule is, don’t expect them not to hear you, unless you walk only, an never jigglepeak when you push behind them.

Hugging walls aren't always a bad idea; it allows for you to expose yourself to multiple angles faster giving you more flexibility when peeking. Basically since the area you need to move is incredibly small, pie peeking a room and exposing yourself/clearing 5+ angles/20 degrees will take maybe a second. If you're far away from the wall/door however, you need to travel a greater distance which will slow down your peek at the cost of a smaller target. Peeking from further away will also allow you to clear the room slower and taking on 1 guy at a time, maybe clearing 20 degrees every 1 second rather than 40/60/80 degrees every one second. Basically, the further away you are from the wall, the slower your peek and the more precise your peeking. The closer you are, the faster the peek though at the cost of a larger target.

Tip from a cs player with 1k hours , when you start off UNBIND YOUR CROUCH it's always been known newer player have a horrible habit of crouching TOO MUCH I say too much bc crouching can be very viable but if you keep doing it you become a bigger target and you become more predictible..unbinding your crouch also helps with crosshair placement which is in my opinion one of the most important things to learn constantly keeping your crosshair at head level helps build that muscle memory which is what you want to keep developing to make shooting a second nature thing
@hoolowaynoobr.738
4 жыл бұрын
@MALEK001 001 when you peak and immediately crouch that's a no no people expect you to drop always bc why not it's accurate and you're smaller but it's too predictible and people prefire where your head should be, but if you hold an angle crouching it might catch them off guard but again you still are a big target crouching you go from a line to a big blob ripe for lighting up

yeahh happens to me too. i think the best way to fix this is learning trigger discipline LOL, basically if u shoot too early the recoil is gonna be worse, u want ur first shot to be on the head so to learn that u have to learn to not shoot until your crosshair is perfectly on their head

this always fucks me up and whenever it happens i have to remind myself to stop immediately shooting if i see an enemy and to be more patient so i land my shots 😅

I wouldnt recomend croutching while in a 1v1 gun fight, becaus many people don’t really hold their crosshair at head level, but torso level, when you croutch, your head is at torso level, and they will kill you headshot

This guide was INSANELY helpful, I used to feel useless to my friend group. I was bottom dragging and was just not helping but the encouraged me and kept routing me on. After learning things practicing my aim. And learning how to peek from this guide I improved and my friends noticed it. I was winning clutches like 1v3's and 1v2's. And I am so grateful for finding this. I have recommended this to my friends. Thank you!

yea the script/ editing is good, I mean the sound, if you listen closely you can hear the mic pop etc. not saying he should remake it, just that that's something he could improve on

That is not bunnyhop peek, it's jumping shoulder fake. And the being further away from walls is important as he says, but if you perform a wide swing, make sure you are actually closer to the wall so you move a further distance in your enemy player's pov. The video is good though for people who don't have a competitive fps background. (esp. CSGO)

4:25 I have decent aim but my crosshair placement most of the time isn't good which causes me to lose a gunfight. People that say the tip is given too many times: "BuT a Lot oF PrOS hAVe Bad cROsshAir PlacEMenT" Wake up people. Newb players don't have PRO aim to compensate for that.

Great guide, but you need to get something better to reduce your plosives in your mic. Kinda puts me off and distracts with all those hard plosives. Nevertheless, clear video, well made and nicely spoken!

All these guides are really teaching me is that like 70% of this game is nothing but relatively skilless camping and cheesing. I understand now why people say good aim isn't really essential for this game, most of the "tactics" just revolve around camping and how to properly do it and respond to it. Even the aim guides are centered mostly around how to predict and counter people's camping, and every map is built for camping to be OP. Doesn't exactly sound very fun.

I don't play a lot of shooters, but this all seemed like common sense to me and I was already doing it (minus the bunny hopping/shoulder peek). Does that mean I'm just bad? lol

I already got used to it. I ALWAYS play with +180 ping, because I live in Mozambique and here, we are not relevant. But as I said, I got used to play like this. I get killed insanely, but I have fun nevertheless.

Video actually starts at 2:37 - consider using 1.5x speed. Just a note to SkillCapped, I know you guys need to hit 20+ minutes for the youtube algorithm or whatever but it's super annoying for the viewer.

Great guide bro.. very very complete and detailed guide. I'm sure a LOT of players will finally learn that you need to incorporate/use/abuse these technqs to be competitive.

i know im like 6 months too late but i just came across this vid and 99% of it is pretty true, just one little thing is wrong, 140+ ping is definetly gonna have some serious peekers advantage but from testing and playing since beta i can say that peekers advantage starts at around 60+ ping, yes it will be very bad at 140 but but in terms of when it will start to happen its definetly 60+ ping.

Exactly, there is no peekers advanatge if you are the one peeking most of the time. I hate when people shout on the mic "DONT PEEK, DONT PEEK".
