Sarah, I have been subscribed to your channel for the past 10 years. When I found your content all those years ago, I was battling severe anxiety and learning about holistic living from you helped me more than I can ever express. It was months later that I learned you had the same anxiety disorder as me and it all began to click and gave me so much hope and comfort. Now I’m happily married with a beautiful toddler and my mental health is better than it’s ever been. Thank you for your wonderful content, and congratulations on the exciting changes in your life. It makes me so happy that you found the right person, and how exciting that you’re looking forward to starting a family. It’s hard to tell who most youtubers really are, but your kindness and light have never changed in the 10 years I’ve been subscribed to you. It's easy to see what an incredibly kind, patient, and caring mother you will be. Of course I knew I would love my baby, but nothing could have prepared me for the level of love and joy he’s brought into my life. So happy for you and your journey ahead!

Yes Sara I absolutley LOVE your hair but I do think some chin length curtain style bangs with face framing would look gorgeous on you! I do think curtain style bangs would also look gorgeous eye length as well since it would highlight your eyes so much. Maybe a little bit of very long layers around your crown to give some more volume in the crown. Very minimal but dramatic change with still allowing your hair to be long and luscious still. I am so excited for your new journey in life. Much LOVE!

My baby is now just a year old and my hair is almost back to the same length it was before the chop (I think hormones have helped the growth?) But it was such a wonderful entry to mommyhood by having revamped hair. You will also look so stunning no matter what you choose ❤

I had super long hair too, not as thick as yours but still heavy. I cut it because I was also tired of always wearing it in ponytails or buns and I think I was losing more hair because of the traction on my scalp. Also tired of having to tie it also for sleeping. I did it gradually, but in the past year I've had long bobs and really enjoying them! Love the feeling of lightness and I think it complements my face and figure much better. I think because your hair is so thick layers would also be a good option! They didn't work for me - I rather go shorter but keep one length
@holistichabits

Honestly, I finally did the layer thing and LOVE it. And I don’t have nearly as much hair as you do. What I did and suggest is go slow-have them do very long layers first, and then slowly go shorter. (Meaning mid back or lower since your hair is super long). Honestly? It’s so much fun because you can wear your hair up or down or half up-there’s just more you can do and play with. I’m so excited for you and I wish you and Will a wonderful life together.

Hair is a very energetic thing. It's normal and natural to feel that you want to make a change to your hair as it reflects major life changes and the energetic shift that is happening in your life right now (for the better! I'm so happy for you and Will ❤). Although I absolutely adored the way a fringe looked on you and would love to see you with one again some day in the future, I would just caution against getting one before you move to a warmer climate (it's going to stick to your forehead in summer and get oiler faster and you won't enjoy that and especially wouldn't recommend having one while you are planning for a baby. Trust me, when you are running on three hours sleep with a newborn every day and barely even get a moment to shower let alone complete your normal skincare routine, a fringe is the absolute last thing you will want to deal with. ) I'm looking forward to your creating holistic mummy content very much! If I am completely honest I've considered unsubscribing from your channel a number of times because I've felt that you've really just been rehashing old content without much variation (long time follower so I do feel I can be honest here. I mean this in a constructive way, not a critical way.) This is why I really loved your vlogs, as they feel much more like hanging out with a friend then yet another video about a topic you've already covered a number of times in the past. I've just gotten married myself and had my firstborn (who's currently 11 weeks) and from reading the comments it seems a lot of your other followers are at a similar stage in life, so I feel confident in saying we all look forward to your sharing with us what's next and holistic mummy things you learn along the way! Love from Australia 🦘🇦🇺

So excited for you ❤ I love the idea of changing your hair. You have kept it so healthy and natural for so long and it is ethereal, but it would be equally beautiful in a slightly shorter length and with layers and movement. You would probably get more volume too since it is weighed down now at this length. Yes, it will take time to regrow, but you wouldn’t lose all the length, and if anyone can grow fairytale hair, it is you 🌺 regardless, you will be a beautiful bride with whatever hairstyle you choose!

My sister's hair was down to her mid thigh and now it is short. My hair is down to my waist when it is straight but the spring factor makes it look shorter. My hair is wavy and low porosity. I do the LCO method. L is leave in or liquid conditioner. C is a low porosity cream. Oil is oil. High porosity hair does the LOC method. Same first step. Then oil and finish with a high porosity cream. Medium porosity can use any styling products. You can check with a float test. Put a hair in a container of water. If it floats on the surface you have low porosity. If it floats in the middle you have medium porosity. If it sinks to the bottom you have high porosity. Some hair styling products offer humidity or frizz protection. Our (Lee's and my) son Daniel is 16 years old. Our younger son Thomas died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome seven weeks after his birth in 2011.

I also prefer all hair in the same length. I have very long hair (but not as long as Sarah) and don´t see any problem with it.Usually I have my hair in ponytail or braids or high bun, very occasionally I have my hair down with just hair band on my head. I am not bored with the same hairstyle, because sometimes I use a pretty hair accessories to decorate it like flowers, jewelry and so on. I have wide cheekbones, so I don´t need an extra volume from the layers of hair (I know that layering is a game changer for people with narrow and longer faces). It depends on personal preferences.

I've had super long hair and also became tired of the long, heavy, witch wig ( i called it that). I cut it just above my belly button and added some "light" layers around the face and light curtain bangs just past my chin (made sure they knew not to cut too deep into the length) and told them I wanted to keep a full weight line at the bottom with thick, blunt ends and very minimal layer at the bottom. Gave me so much more movement and took the weight off the roots. Made me look so much younger and less severe. I have a thin face so long, straight hair can really drag the face down even more. Maybe just try the light layers around the face because they grow out so fast and don't impact the bulk of the hair overall. Whatever you choose will grow out with all the care you take of your hair and scalp.

Do u happen to know the length of the bangs since you were wanting to grow them out one day? ( Last update was in the clavicle area) 2. Would u cut your hair still at a long length since u love long hair and more waviness anyway? 3. Would u still do holistics even with hair care when you become a mom one day and married? 4. (Memory) Remember when you had long hair at almost your knees? I really loved watching your hair videos #1 even at longest ever been. If u do cut it there’s no going back. I would do just a little if becoming a mom and put your hair up in a braid or bun. Bless u and Will for a bright future ahead of u!❤

I vote for cutting it. It'll grow back, and probably faster than you think. I don't think you'll regret it, if you get a really good cut and style (love the side part). It will be fun and FREEING. You'll feel lighter. I admit, I wasn't a fan of the bangs on you. But that side part with a nice, full, layered look, I think would look awesome. Maybe just a bit past your shoulders. I think you'd love it. Remember, you're still very young and it will grow back quickly. Plus, it's pretty much a given that you'll feel the need to cut it once motherhood happens. So trying it out now, you'll already know it's a good thing.

I know you said you don't plan on wearing your hair down for your wedding BUT can you do a photo shoot with some bridal looks with your hair down? I'm just curious to see what that would look like with your length of hair. PLEASE?

Can you do an updated hair care couture video? I have been watching you since I have been a teen following the hair journey. I have the worst frizz and flyaways. How do you dry your hair

You will look gorgeous no matter what you do…but I think your long hair you have now is iconic and so rare… you will figure it out & it will be a learning experience 🪷🪷🪷

I wear long linen garments i purchased from Russia, have cotton skirts i bought from AYA Sared Wear, and cotton tops. No mixing linen, wool, or cotton with plastics for me. Plastic has different names such as acrylic, polyester, etc.

Sooo happy for you! 👍 Don't forget that layers and braids don't go together well. Unless you love a fir tree looking kind of braid. 😉

I cut my long hair once, cut layers etc but I ended up recreting it..

Yeah that’s my fear! But I guess I can start slow and just cut a few longer layers. Did you end up growing yours out again?! 💗

@@holistichabits Yes, I have long hair now and I'm never cutting it again 😅 but your plan sounds great. Try something little first. I'm sure everything looks great on you 🥰
