The problem with the solution you proposed is this: IF the dish soap or any other ingredients contains anti bacterials it will also kill some micro-organisms that your lawn needs in order to be healthy.

Over here in the UK we don't have access to much disease control products, so I found the home made remedy extremely interesting. Thanks Chuck.

I love that shirt! The hat's pretty cool too, but there's something about those large-element tropical prints.

Update? Try some milk and let us know. I was told by a plant scientist baking soda doesn't work at all. Sure it's changes ph some, but doesn't kill/starve fungus either. Oil would drown it. So the drown or dry principles. I'm gunna try milk this week.

I've not heard of milk... interesting! I feel the method in this video worked. It's just not practical from a time standpoint

Subscribed. Here in CT by the coast humidity is nuts. I water to save it from drying out but the humidity makes it have fungus

I wonder whether applying Kool Aid (citric acid) will help move my ph below 7.1. Maybe lemonade would be better, lol. The sugars can feed the microbes so they can digest the thatch.

You might need something more concentrated. I just propiconazole 14.3 for 44. Amazon has the amall bottle for 29 with a 5% off coupon. Im like you i dont want to spend that much. I love my lawn but it gets expensive!
