hate that concealer trend. Why to put tons of product on the face if it's not needed? Those "beauty gurus" look like drag queens! I don't mind drag queens, but I hate when I click on video "fresh summer look" and there is just another girl putting her regular mask of primer-foundation-the whole tube of concealer-bronzer contour and blusher and tons of highlighter...

I know a lot of people (males and females) who loves makeup so much. Piles and piles and even a room of makeup but you are on a different level. You love make up so much without letting it take over you. This to me is what you makes you the best at makeup (professional or self-taught or youtube-taught, hahaha). You use a handful of products, transform your canvass into something immaculate and flawless, very different but the same entity. You bring out different moods and personalities of your clients while still retaining their selves. Something I want to achieve when doing my own make up or my friends. I hope I get the chance to meet you and God please maybe one day, have the honor to have you put on my make up and experience the Eldridge magic. I do not know what I'm talking about but yeah. You are awesome. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Continue doing what you are doing. I'm just here somewhere in the world trying to learn what you are teaching.

Imho The Eldridge Way is the best way to enhance natural beauty. We seem to forget the point of everyday makeup - it is supposed to make us prettier version of ourselves, not to change us into something we are not. I used to wear A LOT of makeup to make myself perfect. I wore heavy foundation and contour, instagram eyebrows, cat eye on daily basis. I did not look like myself but I felt more confident. Now I just embrace my flaws, my features and work with them instead of acting against them. Thanks to Lisa! Your approach and artistry are constant inspiration! X

Dear Lisa, after watching youtube for a year and makeup video's , buying all sorts of stuff ... I really took allot of time watching this video... three times.. your skin always looks flawless yet never over done . Today today I took the time do try the look. It came out beautiful.. I used a SFP CC Bream It Cosmetics in Med , But I really took the time to prep my skin. Then I did small amounts like you and buffed buffed and buffed... Adding a bit of light , I used Rimmel wake me up face glow its perfect, and L'oreal skin Liquid bronzer a Oldie but a goodie , buff buff buff buff , :-) , same shadow I had the palette , light brows , and lip natural.. It actually came out perfect.. This is going to be my summer go to look. It was very affordable with products I already had but just did not use properly. Thank you so much for keeping us " Beautiful Naturally"!, You are truly a Artist of Perfection ...

I absolutely love your minimalist approach when it comes to concealer. I cringe every time I see a you tuber paint heavy streaks of concealer all over their faces, completely covering the heavy foundation they have just applied, a highlighting concealer over it, then adding a full layer of powder to cover that! I can't imagine what all that makeup looks like in person. Ugh.

I learned to do my makeup from watching my grandma, my mom, and my aunts putting on makeup. My first memories of makeup were when I was really young 4,5,6 years old and I'd watch them. I have a lot of these memories esp with my grandma. I can remember being in her bedroom and me being on my grandmas bed and watching her sit in from of her vanity and she'd "put on her face" as she called it. I thought she was the fanciest woman in the world at the time.

If you're warm toned, go for warm colors. If you're cool, go cool. That's what looks more natural- the opposite will still look pretty, but more obvious, so it depends on what you're going for. I really don't think there are any rules for choosing shades, you can really make anything work if you're doing it right!

I personally go for a very peach based pink. I despise spending more than £19 on single products but Nars' Sex Appeal blush is Holy Grail status for my pale skin, and I've seen people much lighter than me (MAC NC10 or so) using that blush too. It's utterly gorgeous although it's a nightmare to find dupes for.

I am very fair by myself. The best natrual shade I found are from NYX in Angel, Peach, Natrual and Mauve (old range - but the new range has similar tones and finishes) or from Sleek in shade Suede. Also very good looking on my skin is Dallas or Dandallion from Benefit. I hope you have fun trying out those products.
