I use the Slate VSX headphones. This plugin seems cool, but probably overkill at this point

2 days into the trial. Using it on a Project page in SO on the Listen Bus for an album I just released, finding myself making several small corrections on a handful of tracks. So bummed I didn't have this 30 days earlier. Great video, thanks Dave!

Hi I have been trying the demo but your video has made my mind up to purchase. One question, this can be used without headphones, is that right? thanks.

In order to use this plugin we need to use studio monitor or can we use it with headphone?

This seems pretty interesting, what are your thoughts on calibration, and using this in an untreated room, do you think a disclaimer should be noted because if your listening room is not good, then having these different options may only add confusion to an already difficult process.

Yes, that goes without saying. If you are even a little serious about mixing music on ANY level, you need to at the very least have your room acoustically treated and I also recommend some room correction software as mentioned in the video.

My room isn't treated but I've been in the same room for awhile and I know this room so my mixes sound great but Dave is right if you are new to mixing a treated room is the way to go....I've been doing this for 37 years.

Always nice to have secondary reference options. I’ll have to check this out!

In addition to what @@HomeRecordingMadeEasy said, some good Headphone calibration software could be even better if an acoustically treated space is impractical. Realphones has some of the same features as the plugin in this video. And the software can be used system-wide, so when you're mixing in your DAW you are familiar with the sound of your headphones.
