This is a great video however there is an ongoing problem with “throwback” movies or videos, and that is that they often ONLY use props and references from that specific year. Neglecting the previous years that have already happened. For example if your movie is Mid90’s - your room would likely also have posters from any era before then, not just “1994”

Opposite problem in from this 80s movie took place in 2024. And the person counted out a ton of 20 dollars bills, but they were older looking. I mean, it's not exactly like you can guess lol. As a youngin' I'm motivated to disclose that this is still quite relatable to me today (or maybe more a few years ago as I am not that young anymore) it just involves the internet and the process and finding the information and contacting my friends is a lot faster. I don't think this guy was trying to imply anything negative but I just want older folk to keep in mind, just because our childhoods were different doesn't mean us younger generations didn't have the same magical moments you had growing up.

Boy that brings back memories. I just subscribed to Nintendo Online to play original Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 3 all over again. I haven't played them since the 80s and 90s. My childhood. I do miss the Nintendo Power magazine though. I loved that thing.

I remember sitting at the lunch table in school in the 90's discussing legends & myths that never even existed in games. Because internet was not even popular yet. There was always that one kid. "You can get the triforce in zelda oot. I did it already. You just have to (insert tons of bs here)" We would all get impatient to go home and follow instructions.
