How good are free standing awnings hey. I have a 270 awning on my ute. Mainly because i use the ass end of the car to lay the swag out under awning. And then i have shade for the kitchen in the canopy and cover my swag. We use a small tarp for the shower awning. Great video dale. Hope to see you around the tsv area sometime soon mate.

I’m absolutely loving it man ay. For ages I was thinking going the 270 my self but this one ended up ticking the boxes. But like you said they are perfect for wagons and setting up the way you have. No doubt we will run into each other while I’m back man. Still wanting to camp up for a couple nights just north of Townsville still too.

Just started watching your videos and I love them. You're so chill and seem like a truly genuine, nice person. This is the first time I've seen you without sunnies on, you have nice eyes :) This may be too personal to answer but are you single or has some lucky woman out there snagged you? She'd have to be a special type, you obviously really like people, but also seem to find peace and contentment in solitude. I know the feeling well. Thirty odd years ago I would have loved to do what you're doing now, with a like minded man, though I suppose it could still happen one day ha ha! Keep safe and thanks for giving us all an opportunity to live a life like this through your videos

Hey mate, good video. Have you had it in any rain yet and if so how did it go, any pooling? Seem those spreader poles might be an issue. Can you drop one corner down for run-off like you can with one of the older style roll out awning?
