1. placeholder will block the head of input, you need to style contentEditable as non static position e.g. relative, z-index: 10 and style placeholder z-index less than 10. 2. I think the plugin could be hook Thanks for the video! Im getting started on build a editor now!

I have tried to read the docs, and watch these series, both of them are confusing, I feel good about the lexical itself, but the docs are not good enough to get started.

Pro tip: if your automatic type references and imports stop working in VSCode, just run either "Reload window" or "TypeScript: Restart TS Server" from the command bar and it'll usually resolve it.

Is there a viewer or we have to make editor non editable and use it?
@lexical9358

Recommended approach is to make the editor non-editable. I'm not sure what the difference would be between that and a "viewer". You can also render the raw JSON to HTML according to your own preferences using a simple tree traversal.

Have the guy ever heard about planning the goddamn lesson? This is an official tutorial, and we spend literally a whole minute on importing a "useLexicalComposerContext" hook. Do we as developers have to watch him not knowing how to import things or even type? What a mess.

+1 - if Lexical is this much of a slog for a developer on the project to set up it's probably too complicated. At least we get an honest preview about what it's like to work with before we get going with it.

Nice but the font is a bit small and the video use too long due to it being unprepared. I also recommend not starting by writing a custom plugin, but rather get up us to speed quickly.
