Living in Ghan a year after moving from the U.K. I can personally say: No they are not lazy! I rather admire their resilience and determination to make things work. Given the right education and opportunities they can do exploits. Unfortunately our education system is geared towards training people to look for jobs whilst there are not enough jobs on the market for the graduates. We need to train more entrepreneurs and help them with the funding of their businesses so that they in turn can employ more people.

We live in a country where persons with disabilities go through a lot of struggle to earn a degree and the government do not even support them a bit to get a job but rather people are willing to take money from us before giving us work to do. So pathetic and discouraging then a wealthy person will make a loose statement like this. Irrespective of the fact that there are lazy youth but in fact the system does not support us in any way at all especially those of us who are disabled.

As an antelope, when you are born on the African soil, for all your life, you need to keep running if survival is your focus. Like a lot of youths in Africa, conditions here do not favour your growth to the level that's mostly enviable even to other nations. Like the antelope, if you loose a little guard, conditions here will make mockery of you as if you do not exist. We are mostly vulnerable and taken for granted because the education and trainings here have not helped much. Nonetheless, it takes a more observing, resilient, proactive and daring antelope to live its desired life on the African soil. I say to any youth reading this that, you are more than capable to live above the conditions that are made to swallow or subdue you. You are strong, yes! There are a lot of opportunities here. If you watch closely, you'll find them. I see a lot of them everyday but I can only attempt one at a time. I love you Who are reading this. You will do well so keep pushing. You are amazing! 😍

Sometimes when i hear people saying youth are lazy its makes me sick seriously, This man he own businesses and he has giving many of the youth Jobs also. But he's wrong, Sometimes i really understand criminals and what they doing. not that im in support of it although its bad, But looking at the situation we are in its bad, imagine you will be working from morning to evening and monthly they will pay you 400ghc 500ghc then stuff, its very bad, Won't you pay transport? won't you eat also? You will pay rent and take care of your family, You will buy clothes if all ones are spoilt. Most of the companies don't care. They earn much and they will pay you such a small amount, No jobs in this country its very hard for the youth to survive without jobs, Do you think some people are happy being criminal's . instead of government to build Jobs and better salaries they will be using the money for national cathedral and other unnecessary things.

Totally agree, but you asked yourself if the youth leaders present bills to parliament, request funds for youth investment, why don’t we know all this ? Why don’t we fight for our right, will you support your brother if he step forward for you ? There’s no talking from the youth so nothing will happen. Instead of us complaining, we should step forward take our right , maybe you’ll be the hero if you do that for your youth in your country.

Perspective influenced opinion. He's been influenced only by his limited experience, yet he is generalizing his opinion and judgement. This issue of unemployment and our economy is MULTIFACETED, the culprit is not just one group of people.

@kwadwosheldon you and your brand are an example of how the youth can push through with hustle and consistent dedication. Would you have taken his message if it came from a 'poor person '?. He's referring to hard work as an ethic.
