Ghazla is considered a famous traditional dessert in the Syrian city of Aleppo, where it is prepared and sold during the month of Ramadan in particular. Although this dessert is very similar to cotton candy, the unique method of its preparation in the city of Aleppo and its content of flour and pistachios gives it a unique character and distinctive flavour.
