It’s fun to drop in and play co-op. I haven’t finished the main campaign yet and spent a good 100hrs solo so far. It’s easy to get sidetracked. Love the customization for the gear and weapons. Well worth it especially when it’s on sale.

I can’t stop playing it. While a lot of missions are too similar or far apart objectives just for the heck of it, the really good missions like infiltrating shark base, amber ruin finale, capturing victor coste, etc make up for it and feel like a movie at this point

If you just like going around and killing enemies with cool outfits it's the best game possible. DLCs are fun and the events that you can now enable and disable are also worth playing. Playing with friends and either being serious or even just being stupid and dying a lot is really fun to do especially when you get stupid glitches like enemies flying off to the unknown or your character just starts violently shaking when you go down. Only downside is really the story. They could've done a lot more. Other than that I'd say it's worth buying and it's, to me and a few if my friends, better than Wildlands. But hey we're just a few idiots who laugh at dick jokes so maybe it's the worst game ever made

When I first started and played the first mission I LOVED the game. The opening gave me a tone that you have to SURVIVE and now you are the one being hunted. @@AverageGameReviews to me it just boils down to what type of game you want to play. There's not a ton of features that breakpoint doesn't have from wildlands after all these updates so it just kinda depends on whether you'd rather do some more clandestine urbanwarfare or if you'd rather do some jungle stealth. Ubisofy did say they wanted you to feel like you were being hunted in breakpoint as opposed to hunting in wildlands and I think in those regards, the difference is world building (IE lack of civilians) is purposeful and does its job. You're in an open and "free" Bolivia in one game , and on a military island where everyone is under martial law on the other. I don't think these differences justify one game being "better" than the other, I just think it boils down to what kind of game you'd rather play and I find myself switching between them constantly

I bought this game for 11 quid, I haven’t ever really played a ghost recon so it’s all pretty brand new to me. The gameplay reminds me of MGS5, I love the details and the customisation with your character and the actual gameplay itself. I’ve put it on normal difficulty as I’m new, but everything else is set to pretty extreme with darkest night, no hud, no enemy tagging, injuries frequent, extreme stamina degradation, no AI team mates or anything like that. No gear system, unguided mode, normal patrols. I die a lot but it’s seriously fun

One of my favourite areas to go to in breakpoint is the city, as in the city there’s plenty of building like hotels, guard posts, houses, and restaurants where you can actually find civilians. I think the game was pretty much perfect after they implemented teamates and toggle world events. Its also nice that you can make the game harder by changing world parameters. The graphics are way better than wildlands and the game feels alot more customizable. I like the loot. I like playing the game like a classic ghost recon game. I don't really pay attention to the cutscenes I just pay attention when im doing a really cool mission or something like that. I enjoy it alot. I'm not sure why you wouldnt be able to have fun in a navy seal style sandbox with lots of stealth missions.

I will agree with you on how bland the traveling can be; I use helicopters all the time. The argument I have on this is the realism. Wild Lands was more cartoony and was more unrealistic than Break Point. The traveling is meant to be real, how you camouflage into the ground from enemies and vegetation. This is realism, being hunted by the enemy while hunting them yourself. The new gadgets that show where enemies are is a bit of a crutch and I believe it to handicap the game more than immerse the players. If you want to know how it really could be living a military life, man hunting man, Ghost Recon Break Point is the closest game you can truly experience that.

@JimmyMontoya No I don't. I hate overbloated maps that have an event happening every 10 seconds because there is something new. I want to actually see what the world designers did and less what the quest designers did. Having said that, It is not quite interesting what they did. It lacks places to explore that are not marked on the map as question mark. As example what I love from a world design is Red Dead Redemption 2, for a recent example. Gothic 1-3 for old examples. What I hate is Assassins creed Odyssey's Quest overbloat. I don't remember much from the world after 200 hours because I spent most of the time killing enemies than actually being able to explore.

Fast travelling between bivouacs, rushing to mission objectives becomes boring real fast. Travelling by conventional means and exploring left and right before reaching an objective is a lot more satisfying for me. The landscape is beautiful. Enemy encounters can be tough and might need some thinking if one turns the difficulty up and assists off. It is, for a good part, what you make of it. Most Ubisoft's games are like this nowadays. If one doesn't like this play style then these games are entirely worth skipping. I, for one, find Breakpoint more enjoyable overall than Wildlands. I like the latter a lot, but absolutely hated the GTA style mechanics in that one.

The patrols are like drones that walk hand in hand and make a u turn after a couple of feet and just keep walking back and forth mindlessly. The choppers, vehicle patrols and convoys are usually headed nowhere at all and just keep driving around. There's a bunch of checkpoints as well but they are pointless because there isn't any civilian traffic. This is such a wasted opportunity. They could have had civilian traffic that offers different dynamic gameplay like maybe checkpoints actually patrolling traffic and sometimes searching and detaining some civilians. Even the hostage situations in the open world or the patrols that are fixing broken down vehicles never really do anything. They just wait for you to come and shoot them. This is the biggest problem with the open world in Breakpoint, NOTHING moves until you do. Everything is waiting around for you to do something and this is evident in the way camps and enemy occupies areas only populate when you get about 200 meters close. Wildlands had some of the same issues but it was saved by the lively atmosphere of vehicle and human traffic, the radio and more expressive enemies. It was also the first installment of this new kind of Ghost recon so we were more linient. The fact that you also didn't have to travel the whole map for each mission because everything was region based helped a lot. Even the interraction of Unidad and santa blanca made for its own dynamic experience. The forests and mountains in wildlands were also lacking in patrols or enemy presence but breakpoint had many little shacks that only act as loot areas which again is such a missed opportunity. These would have acted as a bivouac for the patrols that move around off road. The fact that they are almost always empty is a huge waste of potential. This could have been perhaps the end destination for patrols where they switch shifts with eachother. They could have also had those hostage situations either escalate to executions on the spot or have them be led to these little shacks, turning them into mini dynamic missions that switch from breach and clear to breach and rescue depending on the situation. The worst offender of the last two games though is the lack of grounding in that gear and outfits do not matter at all. It makes zero sense that 'abilities' are tied behind classes and skills rather than gear and what you roll out with in a tac shooter. The game offers freedom where it should restrict you and restricts you where it should offer freedom. This results in feeling more like a super soldier rather than an elite soldier. We all spend so much time in the customization menu trying to match outfits gear and cammo to the appropriate terrain, time of day and weather conditions but my friend joins me weilding a stoner LMG and a 50 cal sniper while wearing shorts a cape and a cowboy hat and it means absolutely nothing to the gameplay. This is again because gear doesn't matter at all. And because they know how bland the open world is, they are so afraid of grounding you in it that they offer everything on the table for you in hopes that you don't get bored and notice the below average gameplay. They are more interested in that action moment where you take out a chopper in one shot and the AI teammate says some cringey compliment like "respect!" after almost every headshot. If i can just fast travel everywhere in the game and it makes more sense to actually do so then something is wrong. If i can change my gear on the fly and spawn vehicles almost anywhere then something is wrong. If gear, outfits and cammo don't matter at all and is in fact what you are heavily monetizing, there is something wrong. When i can just base jump anywhere because i always have access to a magical parachute as some skill instead of a depletable resource, something is wrong. When i can use NVG's whether i have them equipped or not and pull out a drone or rocket launcher out of my ass BUT have to go into a menu with the most frustrating UI just to craft syringes, something is really wrong !!!! Who did they make this game for ?!

To be completely honest, I have no idea. Those specs will certainly run the game to a point where it is playable though!

@@AverageGameReviews I bought the game, and it's totally playable within 55/59 fps on Medium graphics. even on high is very good. the only "problem" is that Gpu usage is on 98%, and Cpu on 60% (even If i push it down on Low graphics) , but the temperature doesn't excede 70C. someone told me this extreme % of usage gonna "ruin" the laptop, someone told me it's totally normal and don't worry about that.. what u guys think? :D

From my RX570 experience from the past, you will play it around 35~50FPS on Medium. If you use Temporal Injection (upscaling technique from the engine), you will reach 45~60FPS. Low is still a beautifull game, but there's no much difference from Medium when we re talking about performance.

I tried the demo yesterday (Lucky). I was going to get it back in 2019 but When I hear that it was online game only and loot game like division. Decided to not to get it. Since I tried demo seems good. But Im still thinking about it.🤔

Parkour and gameplay are 3 steps back from wildlands... it seems to me that game developers think that insane graphics requirements are enough for new games nowadays (with a lot of cutscenes and microtransactions and whatnot) i never understood the need to change something that works, instead of just enhancing it
