I have to say I agree with Roxi. The appeal of this show is the uncensored, unfiltered conversation. Holding yourself back and censoring yourself and trying to avoid offending potential people in the audience would not be faithful to the show. That's what Movie Talk, TV Talk and every other Collider show is for. There's nothing wrong with feeling offended by the language and comedy, but I just don't think this show is what that's meant for.

I've noticed the change in his on air personality over the last few weeks.. seems like he's much more cautious about things (trying to build his brand?) Yeah he may be trying to redo his brand. He even changed the name of his show from "Between the Sheets" to "The Josh Macuga Show". He may have even deleted those old videos I'm not sure. Those are all fine because it's his own work and he can personally edit what he says if he doesn't want to have a 'wildman' image, but I don't think it's his place to then tell everyone else to follow him in that decision. It seemed like a selfish request to make to Brett and Roxy. Thought I did agree with Reilly that when there's a guest who's coming in to promote something they should be a bit more mindful.

I have always been a fan of Macuga, and have often struggled to see eye to eye with Roxy, but today's show really had my feelings all twisted up about Macuga. He seemed very pretentious. To be clear here, I appreciate everyone's difference of opinion on the show, but nobody has the right to make someone feel like less of a person because of one's personal preferences. In this case, Macuga is attempting to censor people on a show that's main mission is to be the only unscripted and uncensored show in the Collider Network. Roxy reacted appropriately, as did Brett. It's unfortunate because I think Brett and Roxy both are going to censor themselves moving forward (Brett especially) and Macuga isn't going to appear on the show for a while. Roxy has shown discomfort from time to time, especially with the KZitem video of the guy with the exploding hammer, and while she did whine about it, she didn't tell anybody they needed to be better people. She said she was uncomfortable and that she didn't get it at all. That's an opinion, while I disagree with it, I can respect her for having. I definitely think this is a damaging blow to the show and it's going to require several meetings to discuss the nature of what Collider wants to do as a brand and for the Collider Live show itself.

If Josh wants his career to take a different direction, then great, but he needs to understand that to get where you want to go you must respect where you started. Sadly he doesn't seem too, as he's deleted numerous videos to try and cover up his past that he now deems inappropriate, does he not realize you can't just delete things off the internet, once it's out it's out, everyone's seen your crass comments in the past, don't be ashamed of them and hide them, just personally decide for yourself to not be that person anymore. I think Josh is a great host, maybe Travel Channel and their ratings disagree, since i don't think that show is running anymore, but perhaps what Josh could have done is just said i'm off Collider Live, it's just not for him and isn't part of the future he wants to build for himself and he sticks to hosting TV Talk and he can work to get great guests on that show instead. You don't need to shit on, what has essentially been the bread and butter of the Schmoes Know Live Show & Collider Live for 58 previous episodes, just to boost your own PR rating for TV execs watching. Basically what i'm saying is, If Josh wants there to be change, then be that change on a show that you control, which is TV Talk. Don't take away from the fans what Kristian and Mark spent almost a decade building by throwing it under the bus to suit your own future career goals. This show has always been crude and lewd in parts, "that's the show", like it, get on board with it or just stick to TV Talk.

Macuga is arguably the most obnoxious and annoying person with the Swedish Harloff and other unfunniness he hammers the audience with. Don’t change a thing! This show was designed for open conversation, if josh can’t handle it because he thinks he still has some chance of hosting Jeopardy, leave him off the Live squad Edit: Analysts say Macuga will never host a game show

Here's my take for what it's worth (nothing): I understand where Macuga is coming from. His passion for his own career and for this show and Collider in general is never something that I would question, he very clearly has a set idea of what this show should be, and if at any point he doesn't like what is going on, then he doesn't need to be a part of it. What I didn't like was how this was treated on his part from the standpoint of, those are HIS standards not everyone elses. Roxy and Brett shouldn't have to feel bad for saying what they said, as this show has never been a PC show. In fact on my first listen, I didn't even notice what had happened, and when Macuga got upset I had to go back and listen again, because it just seemed normal to me. SO for the future, I think Macuga needs to figure out if this show is for him or not as it sometimes dips into that kind of material, and if not, I think that's perfectly fine, but I don't think any judgement needs to happen in the process.

If I was Roxy being talked to by Josh like a child, asking her to censor herself on a show that is supposed to pride itself for being free and uncensored, I would have been heated. Josh was being such a baby

Macuga has a right to his opinion but he should have aired that type of opinion to Kristian in private, rather than bullying Roxy in front of the fans. That was poor form.

Is this because Josh legit thinks he has a chance at becoming the Jeopardy host? Is that what this is about? You don't have to make other people feel like shit because you want something that you're never going to get. It's not gonna happen man. The last thing this show needs is to be censored.

Please do not let this show die because of Macuga’s overreaction. I am a serious fan of both your videos and podcasts of Collider Live, and I think this was the best show to date. The simple, straight-forward, honest, uncensored talking is what I personally like best about the show. You don’t hold back and I think that’s how it should stay.

I'm sorry but Josh was a complete dramaqueen and he made everyone uncomfortable especially Roxy and Brett. He needs to take a step down and really think about the way he reacted. He made Roxy feel like shit. He made the entire show a sad piece of bs today. Macuga is becoming really pretentious and arrogant. Wanting to change the direction of his career isn't doing anything good to human Macuga.

i think were it not live, we don't see what happened, we just hear about someone not being on the show anymore a few days or a week later - Kristian kinda went with it for a good 10 minutes as i think he thought it was a bit, but when he realized it wasn't he did actually starting telling Macuga to leave, he did so subtly, but he kept remarking that he'd rather he leave if he didn't like something than blow up and then come back to talk after no way Josh stays on the show now, what he did was shit on what Mark and Kristian built for the past better part of a decade, and he did it for PR purposes of his own career hopes... and he did it to his "friends"

The show is great, don’t change a thing. It’s terrible for Macuga to put Roxy and Brett down because their humor doesn’t attract high profile guests. I think it’s best for Macuga to leave the show, nothing against him, I just feel everyone involved with the show is gonna be sitting on pins and needles whenever he’s in the room.

Look, maybe Macuga was just having a bad day, or more likely he's trying to protect his brand cause of his bid to host Jeopardy, but he was NOT coming off well here. Roxy's and Brett's personalities and brands of humor are a big part of why I love them and the show. This show's design is to feel like you're just hanging out with friends -- THAT'S THE SHOW -- and guess what, sometimes your friends can say some stuff like this. I understand where Josh was coming from, and he certainly wasn't expressing himself the best, but I'm more on Roxy, Brett and Kristian's side. Don't change or feel stifled, guys!

No One is wrong here but Josh seemed to be in a mood today. This is a prime example of creative differences. Harloff wants a free for all Howard Stern style show and Macuga wants things to go in a more broadcast-friendly TV style. Maybe things were discussed in production meetings we don't know about and it's not playing out as planned.

The show from Day 1 was sold as exactly what happened today. It was going to be unorthodox, spontaneous, and unlike anything on the Collider channel. Josh Macuga was part of that and normally he’s fed into that type of humour so maybe he was having a bad day but he was wrong for telling Brett and Roxy to be better and hold themselves to higher standards. He did the right thing by leaving the show instead of sticking around with his pouty face but this is what the show is and has been. If he’s not going to be on board for what the show is then he should absolutely no longer be on this show. Not because I don’t like him, I love his podcast with Ken and i’ll continue to listen to TV Talk but for his sanity and for the sake of the show he should stay off if this type of humour bothers him that much. Very interesting show and i’m glad it was all caught on camera. Interested to see what happens going forward.

Pretty disappointing, and frankly quite unprofessional that Josh has acted this way. Opinions aside (although I’m completely with Roxy & Brett on this), Josh is completely entitled to feel the way he does - but the manner in which he acted, in calling out, blaming the “lacklustre guests” & not rapid enough growth on the VERY behaviour, banter & joking talk style that diehard and day 1 schmoes and collider fans have loved since the beginning is very disheartening. Brett & Roxy keep doing you!

I don’t comment much, but I just had to here. I can understand Josh’s viewpoint from his personal level, and if it was HIS show I would agree with him. However, this is Kristian’s show. He started it to be an unfiltered real conversation between friends & colleagues which is exactly what it is and why I love it. I can totally understand if it does not fit in with what Josh thought it should be, and would totally respect his decision to not want to continue to be a part of it. I personally like Josh & am a big fan of The Afternoons & The Josh Macuga show, but they are for a different audience. I find both types of shows entertaining in different ways for different reasons. However this gets resolved, I wish nothing but the best for everyone and will continue to support everyone & enjoy the diversity of entertainment & content they put out. No matter when you watch/listen to Collider Live, it’s always The Afternoons! Peace out mother F’s. ❤️
