THIS MOVIE is by far one of the BEST examples of how 2 people, from entirely different backgrounds, can because of a deep, magnetic attraction towards one another, be drawn to each other despite logic, what is appropriate, or expected ... it's just "love" in its purest form, drawing him ... to her, and her to him, beyond anything either of them would otherwise have considered! I loved the movie and will probably watch it again ... soon!

I really wanted to like this movie. I told all my close friends about it. It has two actors I like, and it lies at the intersection of my two favorite genres - action and rom-com - but the chemistry between Ana and Chris was just... off. After months of waiting for it, I couldn't even watch the whole thing. Very disappointing.

This movie does look adorable, and I'd probably love to watch - but I don't believe I'm joining Apple TV to do so. Having said that, one observation with the more recent wording used for relationships ... i.e. 'ghosting' as an example here. The word variation I'm speaking to is needy/need. Needy can often be an overused or misdirected term. Meaning being 'needy' is certainly not a positive trait. However, to have a need, such as the Begonia plant used in this movie seen - which the need was to be watered and cared for more often - is completely okay ... good, even. People have needs, and again, that's completely acceptable. Couples should develop and care for their genuine needs with each other. Yes, there are people who become users to whatever degree and are needy. Yet, let's also realize that often, quite often, our personal lack of empathy for another could actually be the true reason someone thinks of another as so-called needy.

Still a better love story than Twilight, haha jk. But both movies ignore red flags because of hotness. The writing and direction make no sense. It looked like he knew they were flirting at first but he was totally turned off by her attitude towards a living thing. He chose to stop being interested, it was clear. But the writers made it look like he was clueless about the flirting and then he compromised his morals because ya, hotness.

They were so naturally attracted to each other that their emotional-love-high-energy was flowing in any direction that would keep their ‘emotional dancing’ with each other going… it didn’t matter what they were talking about… all that mattered was ‘being together’ in each other’s presence.
