I feel like one of the most underrated aspects of these videos is the sound design and lighting of the final product. The subtle crickets in the background and the one directional lighting simulating moonlight does a lot to set the tone and atmosphere for the diorama. It's just a beautiful detail that I feel like gets overlooked
@missjddrage1111

I hope it's not overlooked. It's the best part of the video.. the slow zoom, the little music and lighting is key. It's tremendous care to detail and, you're right, does deserve recognition.

Yep, the music is wonderful. And of course the lighting as you say.

The wild imaginary west has to be one of the coolest and most creative fictional worlds I've ever seen! I can just imagine a open world adventure or strategy type settlement building game. Or even a novel or comic! Would be so cool to have an in-depth lore written about the WIW. Seeing Boylei's new vids always make my day 🤠

I've built that riverboat about four times over the years. In its current iteration I extended the hull for better flotation, added better bollards and cleats and a wooden deck. It still needs very calm water, but it doesn't sink the way previous iterations did! Chugs along very nicely.
