I was born in Jeackson Mississippi and was mostly raised in Pearl and Brandon. Right now I'm living in Brandon. It's so cool to know that Dan, the vocalist came from somewhere very close and personal to me. Love this band.

Man this was so good. Gideon is the new Heavy to me. I'm 44 and these guys just kill it. I was into bands like Pantera, Sepultura, and Alice In Chains and these guys really just fill that music gap. New album shreds and well worth the listen.

Hell yea been lookn forward to this one. In my early 40’s and this band is legit. The only band to me getting that hardcore and nu-metal sound across perfectly without gimmick BS or trying too hard. Somehow they just make it work. Heavy riffs, good groove, etc. Loving the 3 new singles that are out. The way they did their breakdowns on them, gnarly! 🤘🎸🤘 Very pleased with the material these dudes have been releasing. If you haven’t checked out their 2019 album “Out of Control” I suggest you get it. The songs they dropped before mention of that 2019 album, their songs “No Love/No One” and “2 Deep” are sic and is when I really started listening to this band. I had heard some earlier stuff like a song they did with Jamey Jasta but had forgot about them until that Maxi-single of NoLove/NoOne and 2Deep dropped. Then we started getting singles for Out of Control that were sic and then once the whole Out of Control album dropped I had in rotation for weeks. Just like I have their current 3 songs from this upcoming new album that will be out this Friday, MORE POWER.MORE PAIN in a constant mix rotation. Looking forward to these 14 new songs out this Friday! We need more bands like this. These dudes share so many similarities like all the others in the scene, gutterals, heavy progressive riffs etc etc BUT BUT but, at that very same time, they have their own unique elements and sounds setting them apart from all of the other same copy cat acts out there. I now can say Aw that’s a Gideon song we’re hearing. That’s what you need as a band to somehow make stuff about your band and sound different from every other band. These dudes are legit, talented musicians and great vocally, good writing! Keep it up Gideon! The Shred Gods approve 🤙🤘🎸🤘

@@Rob_Cary whaaat, I love take off. Mixes the vibe up a bit, and reminds me a little bit of Korn haha. I think they're singles where great I love their arrangements. And "If You Love Me Let Me Go" sticks out like a sore thumb from the rest of the album which I actually love. Takes me back to 2008 to 2010ish when Metal and hardcore had those melodic but heavy guitar riffs with emotional lyrics. It's a nice nostalgia trip.

"Maybe one day you will see the mistake in your decision The flaws in your revision I can't believe it was nothing to you Was it all nothing to you? Just a phase you were going through Or just a chance to call yourself one of the few? Oh God forgive me for turning my back on you (my back on you) For letting others influence the belief that I have in you You'll never give up on me You never stop letting me know that you're right here beside me You never give up You never give up God, show me the way God, show me my way" -Gideon, Gutter Breaks my heart to hear they didn't find the answers they felt they needed to let these lyrics ring true in their lives. I pray they do find that God has not given up on them and that the words they spoke about Him in their songs years ago are just as true today as they were then.

Awesome Heavy band, love your music. Yes, Question everything, but the answer, all the answer are written. If you don't believe the word of God, then you don't believe, I'm sure you haven't studied the Bible seriously. From listening to your thoughts, it is crystal clear you don't understand Jesus and how He died for our sins. If Jesus didn't die for our sins, then Jesus died for nothing which is what you believe. You don't understand brothers, that God loves and respects people so much that God doesn't Force people to believe in Him, doesn't force people into eternal life with Him right. Otherwise that would be like kidnapping or enslaving people. Choose your own path. Also have some common sense, why would someone want to spend eternity with God if they want nothing to do with God on Earth. God's love is True & Real, I pray that you will see it
