Incredible. The New York scene has really had an influence on Gilad's soloing fluency!!!! He is really such a different guitarist than when he landed back in the early Small's days.

Couple things - doing it in Db instead of the original Ab, and also basing it around the vi chord climbing up instead of the ii. Add in a few half step ii-Vs and some passing diminished stuff and that’s it - super dope!

Please don’t assume anything either way about people because of their nationality. I’m deeply ashamed of the US complicity in the Gaza conflict, but don’t target me because of my passport. I have no idea what Gilad thinks about this but when he makes a beautiful and powerful music statement it lifts us all. Let’s not debase that.
