Hallo, I can see you secure the central nut that holds the inner clutchdisk by bending one side of the washer up against the side of the nut. In my motor the nut was welded to the disk. I therefore wonder if bending the washer will be enough to prevent the nut from loosening up when the engine is running. Anyway, your clips are so helpful to me as I’m working on the very same engine myself.

Hello , Even without washer ,the nut should not be able to unscrew . Axle is spinning opposite of the nut thread ( left or right thred ),because of that the nut is screwing it self on the axle . The washer is additional safety ,If threads on axle and nut are in good condition ,you can instal washer like I did .
