The American dream was to originally have hope for the future. Back when, they had hope for the future. We as America we’re working for the future and to better it for the future generations. But lo and behold, we’re here now where hope for the future is laid in the hands of those who have never learned the word hope. Can be a sad reality, but with our generation, I believe it’s possible we may wakeup and be that hope. The hope to better ourselves and better the ones around us in love

Well, I mean, during the late 20's to early 30's, dozens of prominent leftist and centrist politicians were assassinated by fascists, the crime rate was rising, especially after 1933, and many of the people's human rights were being stripped away, so maybe the country wasn't really rising all that much.

These works of art are real interesting to study. Especially the one at 0:46. The central image looks like something Picasso would have done with 3 images of Mussolini with 3 different poses. Other than that all the paintings in this video are good examples of Futurist art with their emphasis on things like modern buildings, aircraft, ships, a machinegun and artillery. The emphasis is always on modern things, speed, and power. Although there is an image of the bell tower in Venice and the Doge's palace. There are also what look to be bound sheaves of wheat. Also some images of blackshirt militamen and soldiers. There is also a monument to Mussolini which has DUX written on it which is the Latin for DUCE. These paintings have as their theme speed, power, and color. The Fascists in Italy made use of contemporary design. The Nazi's did not like modern art.

The DVX monument is for an example of rationalist architecture than futurist honestly.

The fascists were not really fond of contemporary art, except when it could be used to communicate their political values. They cracked down on various italian avant garde artists and made them make art for the regime, forcing them to abandon their experimental aesthetics. But yeah, futurism was pretty dope.

except that picasso was a soulless charlatan and comparing the wonderful works of italian futurists to his half-assed filth is an insult
