I was bullied my whole life, received my first death threat in 7th grade, and cried every morning in 9th grade because I was begging my mom to not make me go to school because I was so miserable. My mom and I went to the school and they did nothing. They said that I had no real proof, even though we had multiple witnesses and text messages from the girl who was bullying me. I was also being picked on by others in the school, and someone tried to out me for my bisexuality even though I wasn’t out yet. I could handle those bullies but not the main one who was making every moment of my school life miserable. They told me to leave school for a year or two and come back senior year because “it should blow over by then”. I left school after 9th grade and I went to a home based charter school. It was the best decision of my life. I was able to teach dance in the mornings, was on an award winning dance team, dedicated my life to performing, and got to be myself without judgement.

PERIOD School and teachers do play a very crucial role in the cognitive development of kids but the primary responsibility lies with the parents until kids are old enough to understand what’s right and wrong! You can’t just give birth to a human being and dump them in a school and say I am not responsible!

Schools tell us to come to them when we have issues with bullying but then brush us off when we do. They don't enforce the message that bullying isn't tolerated. If schools started to actually show that they care then we probably wouldn't have as many suicides because kids would feel they have a voice and that someone cares and is trying to help them.

Parents really need to teach their kids coz these are thing that kids see their parents treat others and do the same or in their environment.

One of the problems is the whole snitches get stitches thing. If you're about that life and you make a problem to a friend, that's one thing but I tell my son all the time, you owe them nothing, you tell me when it happens and i will show up to the school and if they brush it off, dad will come to the school and they will do something about it

I'm black and I personally dont think the boy said the N word the amount of people that say it's been said to justify what they are doing or done is sadly on the rise. Wish we could only focus on real racism & colourism instead of bs.

I was so confused with the first 5 minutes of this video. Like what does that have to do with bullying🤣. Tamaras casual Segway into the topic as though they were talking about anything even remotely similar

Now I understand Jordan sayiing “ Get Out” was a documentary and I love that but makes me wonder did he go out and do research about this to see if it was real or did he make it to get us thinking and bring light to the situation to see if we the people can do our own research to see if it’s real ! It been almost two years and people still have theories on why he made it
