Legitimate question, why do you put yourselves in situations that could easily go wrong? A single bad jump can ruin your whole life, I've seen a video where one fell on her neck and became quadriplegic. I ride motorcycles, but somehow I feel safer going fast than constantly doing flips and jumps threatening to land on my neck if I mess up slightly. I was even scared of doing it om trampolines on PE while I was in school

I've never seen a floor raised up like that, especially for cheerleading. That's hella dangerous. I see this routine rushed with hardly any control with each movement and lack of situational or space awareness of eachother. They need a lot more practice. Their coach should be teaching them control and slowing down their transitions going into the stunts. They should start out perfecting and controlling each level of stunts before trying to rush into the next level of stunts. Same goes with each dance movement and each level of tumbling. It's better to have a controlled and perfected cart-wheel than it is to have an out of control and sloppy back hand spring. I was dropped on my head from doing a stunt that could have been avoided while in high school. I had a severe concussion and burst blood vessels in my throat. I couldn't fly the same again and no matter how much i practiced I just couldn't do it the same again. These kind of accidents can cause trauma which could ruin the sports carreer of that person, so safety is huge.

there was A LOT wrong with this team they don’t work together there not sharp in stuns or motions they can’t do back tucks or backhand springs there jumps aren’t high and oml that’s not even half of it they didn’t smile count stay on beat or anything if they want to go anywhere in cheer life they beater be in that gym working every day and all day cause right now there in NO condition to go anywhere and i’ve been in all star cheer since i was 3 and i’m almost 13. They need to start counting, staying on beat, working as a team, smiling, loudness and much more so just think about if you want to go anywhere in cheer life start practicing more girls and if u get hurt sit down take a deep breath and get back on that mat and DON’T disrespect your coach and DON’T make it hard for the rest of your team your a family work together and also work on tumbling!work on jumps and if a stunt falls just clean keep your head up smile and just keep going if u mess up DO NOT STOP keep going just look at the person next to you and get back in track but ALWAYS SMILE

I never comment but allot of yalls is just rude. Yall realized this is obviously not allstar. This is a recreation team. Like that cheer for football for fun in the summer. With usually parent coaches and such. You can tell because they did a cheer chant and a dance. They practice on the grass or at games with parents teaching what they can. So are they completely off timing,... yea. Technique great ... no. But they are obviously level 1 and just a rec team just learning. How about encourage them and offer drills they can do to improve instead of tearing young teams down. Geez 😲

Offended on behalf of these cheerleaders, are ya? Athletes take feedback,. In order to improve. There is no value in "slay queen". None of the concerned comments are coming from a malicious point of view. Imagine being the young 22 yr old cheerleader who became paralyzed because of a sloppy coach pushing underdeveloped athletes into "flashy stunts" when they can't keep rhythm to the music. Too many lazy heros feel better about themselves for defending "such and such" with coined terms like "slay queen" "YAAASSS" "It was for me" Unoriginal. Unimaginative. Imagine what it would look like actually engaged in dialog, and offering up a piece of experience you lived, rather than assuming someone needs your shallow "atta boy" praise, while discrediting an entire thread of people showing genuine concern for safety and concern for the level of ability. People can learn a fair bit from modest feedback. It's risky to offer feedback but it's far more valuable than being a constant "yes" person. A "slay queen" type
