We used to watch Larry's Band on Chester Street in East B'more jam this right on the sidewalk. That was back in the days of block party's. Life was fun back then. Thanks for the memories and the post.

I use to hear this song in the juke joint in South Carolina. i was a kid but I remember them playing it on the jukebox when I would go in there to buy candy......memories

I remember this song FONDLY! I was in the 8th grade & danced at a house party in Gadsden Green Projects (Back de Green). None of that means anything to anybody but me but I felt like sharing it. Thanks for posting this great song!

My auntie had several boxes filled with 45's when I was a kid... We would dig thru them and play them all the time... When the record started skipping, we would wipe or blow the dust off... If that didn't fix it, we would clean the needle removing any lint and dust... If it still didn't fix it, we put a penny, nickel, dime or quarter on top of the case that had the needle in it, depending on how much pressure was needed to stop the record from skipping... Fun times!!! 😁😁😁
