Congratulations Scott, you did good job considering your experience. I've known guys that have been doing for awhile and they still have a hard time spraying it consistently. That is the key, consistency. Next time you spray a deck, I suggest you trowel it LIGHTLY, it will look much better 😉. You'll need a helper so you can trowel while they spray. DON'T trowel when too wet. Give it a minute but don't let get dry on you. I use golf shoes to walk on for troweling. Good luck 👍🏼

I just finished troweling my first coat. It took 9 gallons to cover 378 sq ft and definitely needs the recommended 2nd coat. My experience is that I don't like the look of troweling and will have to spray the 2nd coat for the look I want to achieve. I have 6 gallons left and am unsure of the coverage when spraying. Daich claims SpreadRock will cover max 60 sq ft per gallon per coat and recommends ordering 20-25% more than your coverage area suggests. daichcoatings.com/shop/spreadrock/

There are three huge differences between love, like and tolerance! If I had to explain it you still would not understand! You have to be married and experience this for yourself! If you still don’t understand than I can’t help you! Been married to the same woman for over 36 years now! When boss wife isn’t happy! No one is! No she isn’t my boss and neither am I her boss either! It’s more of a 49.75% to a 49.25% ratio that switches between us as needed! Again this can’t be explained! You have to live it! Her nickname was a joke at first and it still is! I have a few friends that their wife’s rule the roost! It’s like the husband is a slave to keep their wives happy from the moment they wake up till they go to bed! I once knew a man that cooked her breakfast and then fed his wife in bed every morning! Yes I said feed as is cutting up her food and hand feeding her like you do a baby that can’t feed it’s self! Nope, that damn sure is not for me nor to have someone else do that to me! If this man knew what I knew about bad knees he would of had been using knee pads or a stadium seat to protect his knees! I will keep the rest of my thoughts on his work to myself!

@@Pseudify I have approx. 400 sq ft of concrete patio with no expansion joints that have cracked and become unlevel. I had to grind down the cracks and then fill them. Daich says SpreadRock is crack resistant and will provide "superior elasticity". I'm hoping the SpreadRock will stand up to time and my moving/shifting 20+ year old concrete patio. images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/7d/7d7e3f6e-b246-4a6c-936a-f88cea457cc1.pdf

Anything with a texture in it, would be a no go for me. I live in Florida and dirt, dust, mildew and pollen, collects in all those crevices and is hard to keep clean. I have a similar texture on my porches and I curse the builder for putting that texture down, on the smooth concrete slab underneath. I just got done pressure washing the porch, and tomorrow I will paint the porch.
