The first time I read the name when Honda launched this 300F. I got excited that a faired 300 from Honda is ready to come🥰. But when it was revealed, every dream and hope shattered. Really disappointed by the Honda's effort towards Indian market.

Indian companies should work on their engines so that we don't depend on these foreign brands when it comes to refinement and efficiency. These japanese people have lost their mind. They cant seem to get what their customer wants. They price their products premium and cant just give basic things what competition is providing.

@@rohanyadav9378 tvs is doing a great job in my opinion. Engines are refined. Just got my rtr 1604v special edition. It's smooth as fuck. Not upto honda level but Indian brands are getting there. In 3 to 4 years Indian brands will dominate the market.

@@rohanyadav9378 hero is really terrible though. I'm having a bad experience with my glamour and many others have complained too about their cheap build quality. The only thing their engines are good for is fuel efficiency. TVS is really a world beater though and so is Bajaj. Meanwhile RE is coming up with more budget friendly products and I also believe that the Indian two wheeler market will be dominated by domestic companies soon

NS200 is like 10 years old and makes as much power in 2/3 of displacement. The Honda CBR 250cc is also more than 10 years old and makes more power. So the CB300F engine is more like 15-20 years old.

The guys running honda India division are a bunch of old fucks who are out of touch with reality and just there to take the bundles of notes home every month . The 2 variants are DLX and DLX PRO If only Honda had priced this machine on par or a little higher than Gixxer 250 considering the superior suspension, optimization and quality of parts that Honda offers, I think the perspective of many people would've changed. Right now, it is competing with motorcycles that are a league apart in whichever category you look for.

Tractable, smooth, refined, can pull from 40kmh at 5th gear, but so is the gixxer 250, that too at a cheaper cost. So what is this bike trying to give?

Way more torque, and a better service experience. Two more valves, so the engine breathes better thus is more efficient. More fuel range, as this has a bigger tank and is not a stressed motor as is the Gixxer.

I mean.. the 160's are literally meant for everyday city rides mostly and they do great with an easier price tag, more fuel efficiency, easy availability of service parts and overall you stay lighter on your pockets anyday rather than a 300. Then why anyone should go for an underpowered 300(maybe makes lesser power than the oldie cbr 250r) and pay an hefty price for it to do the same job? Very few would go for it. 300's in India brings a lot more as a package in India specially in the form of performance. This bike stands apart from everything out there. Maybe too apart!!

This move from Honda seems like a last minute presentations we did in colleges. Just jumble up some things together and make presentable. A disappointment at the highest. Was really hoping it could bring in a formidable machine in the 250CC bracket, to rival the Ronin and offer something below the CB350s. What is wrong with Honda's strategies lately, I wonder! I don't see any takers for this bike in the Indian market.

I have a CB350 RS and love the bike though it is true that it isn't performance oriented so lacks the power , and seeing this CB300F it's evident that honda has done the same thing again , I really don't know why there conservative in their power figures . But other than that honda has beautiful machines that no other brand is able to compare for such prices

2 variants are CB300F Delux and CB300F Delux Pro. Later gets Bluetooth connectivity and former doesn't. Otherwise they both are same in every other parameters.

Its not actually. Every motor has a thermal output and depending on the output, the cooling system is decided. You will almost never hear a modern day performance engine running an air cooled setup.

In 300-400 cc segment, buy KTM Duke 390 - PERIOD! Nothing beats that! Honda is not interested in giving high performance bikes to Indians. Remember how they ridiculously priced their top end FireBlade AKA CBR1000RRR!! That was like ₹ 10 Lakh costlier than BMW S1000RR top end model! They are repeating same idiotic behaviour at the lower end of the market.... If you do want Japanese refinement and are ok to spend more, go for KAWASAKI Ninja 300 at least - that's worth something!

@@jeevanchaukar No. Even at that price CB300r still offers something that no other bike offers. It has highest power to weight ratio under 8 lakhs. It weighs as much as an R15 but with double the power. The dukes offer good VFM but looks childish and have relatively high seat height.

The side profile screams yamaha fz25 or the fzs25. Without any advt or hype yamaha sells 700 or 800 units of it. The reason being no unnecessary frills and 100 percent practicality. People somehow think liquid cooled, usd forks, traction control , 6 gears are mandatory to take out! Honda should have rather corrected the 300r and slashed the prices. Its a pocket rocket and major limitations like small tank, no or limited rear seat, out of world pricing just override the machine's marvelous ride characteristics. Honda please don't dilute your bigwing brand with similar variants!

It is a decent bike at a bad price. It's like they don't want many people to buy it. It would be a gem product at 1.6-1.8 L ex showroom. I think they priced it under the BMW to take away it's sales but BMW qualities are way higher. If they gave it the new CBR treatment, kept the rear and seat design, coaxed the engine to give some power between 6500 and 11000rpm and priced it around 10k more than R15 Gixxer 250 sf, then it is a game-changer.

Honda CB 300f has 2 varients viz, Honda CB 300 Delux, Honda CB 300 Delux Pro. The only difference between two is Bluetooth connectivity and that is just for extra 3000 bucks.

I don't know who will buy this motorcycle which vibes over 70km/hr. Shedding 2.5lacs nobody will want to ride their bikes below 70km/hr. Surely Indian manufacturers are going to get on top of Honda the way they are rolling out underpowered ,hyper expensive motorcycles. All the best for Bajaj, hero, and Royal Enfield.

The 2 variants are CB300F Deluxe and CB300F Deluxe Pro. Frankly, feel a bit disappointed. Honda always promises the world and then leaves us asking for more. Looks somewhat like a mix of X-Blade and Hornet, but body parts don't give a premium feel. Just a city bike, not a high performance bike. They tried to balance everything city riding, highway riding and high performance and got nowhere.

This is a confused offering from Honda. I mean what’s the USP of this bike? They should’ve launched either CB150R or Rebel 300 to expand BigWing portfolio in a constructive manner. Honda is lost. And seems to be missing all the opportunities present in the Indian market. The only good they did was with Heighness and CB350 RS. Hornet 2.0 which is exactly a 180cc engine playing between likes of RTR 160 4v and 200 4V is named 200x, and is pricey with all the armour it is wearing. Similarly this one, the competition has bikes of 250cc (Gixxer 250F, FZ25), then 350cc and 390/400 cc engines, but they have launched this to fill in a gap with a 300 cc engine. So their strategy seems to play in the gaps but their pricing really goes awry.

One is better off buying an used good condition NS200 for 1/3rd the price. The frame and the engine will certainly be more rewarding. Honda has stopped caring about what the Indian performance enthusiasts want, a long time ago. The legendary reliability and quality is simply not there anymore. Choose wisely (this is coming from a former Honda fanboy).

It comes with two variants named as Deluxe and Deluxe Pro. One w/o BT connectivity (Deluxe) and the other with BT connectivity (Deluxe pro) Husqvarna 250s and Dominar 250 feels like a better motorcycle compared to this (These are liquid cooled DOHC)

@@adwaid909 honestly a 250cc motorcycle above 180kg is called overweight.. 130section rear tyre, dull handling, jerky low speed, low fuel economy, unnecessarily high vibration, not so precise throttle response etc. are cons of Dominar 250... On specsheet it looks superior product but in day to day riding conditions it's not that great...

One has high price and other has refinement issues and other has a biggger seat height. But if we emotionally connect to a bike. Cons about it wont be a problem. Why do you keep throwing "torque" in there? Torque is absolutely amazing. This 300 is making almost as much torque as the Enfield 350 j platform engine that they've been milking since we first saw it on Meteor.

I found this bike quite practical, small size, 300cc engine managing 40km/hr in 5th gear, it is better for urban area, anyway most of the people rarely bike above 60/70 km/hr . Ground clearance is also good for speed breakers. It has 2 variants CB 300 F Deluxe and CB 300 F Deluxe Pro.

Thanks for keeping it honest. I am just disappointed with this new offering from a reputable company like Honda. Vibey engine and only 24bhp from a 300cc that costs 2.3lakh. oof Honda has failed us with this

I feel they might release cbr300 on this platform But now that we have these issues like refinement and quality The decision to launch cbr300 is questionable And i think they shoul have launched it under 2 l price like at least 1.99 like that

@@AJK666007 yeah actually true I forgot I was looking at the power figures and thought that this could be competitive to Gixxer 250 level bikes

@@akshayreddy1496 for all practical purposes Gixxer 250 is no less than this bike. If your budget is under 2 lakh you can just go with the Gixxer.
