Good morning Brian and Happy Fathers Day to you. I went out on the lake yesterday, new water, very tannic dark lake. No luck, fish were not really even rising but hugging bottom. Mosquitos were just awful at the boat landing. But I did enjoy being on the water with friends. Just no cooperative fish. Have a great day and catch you next weekend.

Never tried magnet fishing but in the bay or ocean we use strong test line,6-8oz treble hook(depending on the current) and troll the bottom,I hooked countless crab traps-lobster pots (no license) -Fishing reels and poles-countless lures and all types of hooks etc. it’s fun and saves you a ton of money IF you find it out there lol, you can easily get snagged and lose your equipment as well. Yes I saw that magnet fishing video where the guy found a gun. Pretty good find, wonder what treasures might be out on the river. I used to fish off of one of the local piers and would “catch” some interesting stuff. Once I got a big machete. Kinda rusty but it was still mostly there. Just started doing some metal detecting with friends. We get together regularly and see what we can find.

I've been a metal detectorist for about 10 years. Never tried Magnet fishing, but lots of videos out there. Ya, if you hooked on to say ..... a car .... hard to get that magnet back. I have heard of some expensive magnets that have a switch that releases the magnets power so you can get it back. I think they are hooked up to an RV battery for magnetic current .... never seen one but I've heard talk of them.

Just opened the tin a few days ago. It does not knock my socks off but it's a very nice blend. More Lat forward than yours the tin is only 1 year old. I really like it but find that it is the most changeling tobacco I have ever tried. I find the profile changes a lot in different pipe more so than any other blend that I have tried.
