Time was grounds would be packed out when glamorgan had a home semi final for a major one day cup - shame on the ECB for their abysmal promotion of this competition. Instead acres of publicity and coverage has been given to the manufactured pantomine that is the 'hundred' - the other night it was being broadcast on 3 channels simultaneously (1 terrestial and two subscription tv). Good luck to glamorgan in the final, but the sad thing is most people in Wales wont even know about it - what a contrast to lords in 1977 and canterbury in 1993.

I don’t think you can blame declining attendances solely on the hundred lol. I’ve been following Glamorgan since the 90s and crowds have been dwindling for sometime. Rise of football, rising costs, time availability, performances of the team, lack of identity within the team, other amenities and entertainment available, shorter attention spans, random weather during the summer - many potential reasons why the game has declined in wales.
