Pennie, I used your method, I put several beads on a skewer and rolled them over my glaze filled foam. I glazed 30 beads in no time. Thanks again, you rock.

Pennie, First I want to thank you sharing your technique for glazing beads. You have saved me so much time and anguish glazing my beads. I don"t make paper beads, I make mine with fabric but, they still have to be glazed. I have hundreds of them that I put off glazing because of the mess it makes. After finding you on, Pinterest and viewing your youtube how to, I was so excited. Now I can get all my beads out of the storage boxes and create my jewelry with them. I'm not going to say, why didn't I think of that, I'm saying thank you soooooooo much that you did.

This was soo helpful. My beads have words I printed on them first and I had already strung them. Because I used an inkjet instead of Laser (I didn't know) the ink ran as soon as my watered down polycrylic touched it. I will now use the laying/ roll method with Modge Podge as a first coat THEN I will dip glaze my beads in the polycrylic. Thanks!

How well does this method coat the interior of the beads? Have you water tested or otherwise weather tested the product of this method? No doubt one of the better ideas for glazing I've seen. I can only imagine how many more beads you get done with the same amount of glaze compared to brushing and dipping methods. Thank you for sharing.

The sponge I used here was one that was used as packing material in a toner cart. box. A thin makeup sponge would work also, even one of those cheap sponge brushes (dollar store) would work.
