The groundbreaking film series, Global Frontiers resumed with a screening of the film "We Need to Talk About A.I." (2020), which depicts how in a riveting exploration of our technological horizon, we find ourselves peering into the future, contemplating the profound implications of Artificial Intelligence and its impending influence on our world.
Kenneth W. Goodman, Ph.D., FACMI, FACE, the Founder and Director of the Institute for Bioethics and Health Policy, the Director of the University of Miami Ethics Programs, the Director of Data Ethics and Society at the Institute for Data Science and Computing and Professor at the Miller School of Medicine led an engaging discussion before and after the screening. The conversation focused on the ethical challenges posed by the Artificial Intelligence, in terms of transparency, accuracy and bias.
