Unbelievable, I did not even know that I had this problem. Everything functions fine, but looking at it and functioning it like you did caused the same problem. Easy fix, thank you dude.

That's pretty crazy. Have never seen that happen before. I think a lot of the time people have to bend their connector to the right angle to fix it. (can cause problems being bent too far or not enough)... and I think the most common problem is the trigger spring being installed wrong. It does look like something might be snagging it though, because it really pops up slower (on both guns) than I've ever seen. Hope you got it figured out.

A problem that I often see is the firing pin hanging forward and not allowing the next round feed. It catches it on the rim as the next cartridge tries to come up. It's usually with the firing pins that come with the slide parts kit. I got the Billet Aim Surplus ones and I don't have that problem.

@@PoconoShooting If the firing pin ever snags the bullet, that means that the sear (trigger bar) completely missed it... because if the trigger bar did catch the sear, then it could never be so far forward. It's pretty much the identical problem. It's far less likely to happen while shooting though, because inertia at-least resets the striker, so it's not forward of the striker safety. When you rack it by hand though, if your trigger bar is not catching the striker, then it can/will cause the firing pin to still be sticking out of the breech face.

@Deuce Deuce i slowly tested it a bunch of times by manually cycling. I think it is a timing issue. The sear pulls it back, but not fast enough.

@@PoconoShooting I thought it pulled it back before that. Otherwise, it's your striker sticking? ...or Is there oil in your channel? (One time I put maritime spring cups in a friends Glock and it caused the striker to get hung up and caused the problem) If you pull the trigger while the gun is empty and while holding the trigger does your strike make a noise as you shake the gun forward and back? (it should. Should tick at the same cadence that you shake it). It's not really loud in the 43 like some other Glocks... but it is audible enough to hear. I think you might be right though. With the slide that far back it's probably not forward enough for the striker to grab the sear. It's close, but I'm not 100% sure (gonna have to look it up). If you knew me, you'd be surprised that I don't know. (Also, if you take the slide off and hold the striker safety in, you can shake the slide like that and hear it. Is a lot louder and you shouldn't have to shake it to hear it, but just tilling it muzzle up and down should be enough for the striker to move freely). Sorry if you don't have time to read all this.I've just worked on many Glocks and have never had a problem I couldn't fix... so I'm like a lot of other men where I just can't leave things alone until they're 100% fixed. Don't mean to be taking up all your time though.

@@deucedeuce1572 the interesting thing is that when I changed the striker, the problem went away. This happened exactly the same way on a number of g43 builds.

@@PoconoShooting That's good. Not very common, but still more common than some of the other problems (not counting the builder created problems, like not removing enough plastic in the guide rod channel and stuff like that).

I’m having the same issue but it’s a delayed firing pin hit I pull the trigger and it takes 2 seconds or a hardddd pull for it to let the firing pin go but the only change is where the spring on the rear of the trigger assembly was sitting it’s in the bottom and the one working was in the top groove please help

If it's just a delay, it might just need some gun oil. I don't fully understand everything that you said. Come to my group on Facebook where you can upload some pictures and short video The name of the group is ... building polymer 80s and AR-15s because.... freedom. There's about 14k people in there that can also help you.

How do I remove slide my ejector is stuck out. And slide hanging on trigger. When I pull trigger slide moves. But takedown lever not working. Problem was caused by a over pressure round that blew out the bottom of round.

You're probably going to have to hold the gun open and remove the back plate.

It kind of fixed it but not 100% reliable. I was able to get the trigger group replaced and that worked fine. It was probably a little out of spec.
