Click tracks make robots of musicians. I prefer learning to remember the piece and taking the chance

I would disagree on it making us robots but, it does increase your chance of playing on time and it honestly makes you strive for cleanliness. Also all of your favorite artists and musicians use and play to a click in their ears!!! It’s just a helpful tool it make things clean, especially when playing live.

@@solomondunlap2153 it wasn't a negative comment. I play to tracks. But playing to a click track live makes the player dependent on that click. It is robotic.

So actually what I use is very cheap , I use an irig 2 and I run it thru an headphone extension cable so it can record from far and then I use a splitter to connect to the irig and the other end for my in ears so I can still play . I have our in ear monitor engineer to make my mix solid ( he does so well ) and then I just record and edit my videos 👍🏾👍🏾

So good!!! I can see the smile on your face 😃but Bro do you ever feel like you don’t want to play drums sometimes? Like you get tired of it sometimes?

Thanks man !! Uhm that’s a good question… I would say yes and no . Yes because you know it can be a lot at times , but no because I go back and remember why I’m doing what I do and that it was meant for me to do this and just the love I have for drums is just bigger than ever . But I love what I do and wouldn’t change it for the world , totally grateful 😊
