An other great video Heather 🔥 Thank you for mentioning my video and channel, I really appreciate it. I’m glad you liked the ADBL Synthetic Spray Wax. One downside is the slickness for sure, that’s what I figured too, but the water behavior is outstanding of both. Keep up the great work, and thanks again 🙏

@@AutoCareHQ Hey, if you would like to add slickness to BSD, try out mix with CarPro Ech2o - 100ml distilled water + 100ml BSD + 10 ml ECH2O - you get BSD's beading and durability, and ECH2O slickness and ease of application - I use this mix for few years now - great combination.

BSD is and remains undefeated if water behavior and price are both considered. Applying and removing can be difficult like you've already mentioned, but diluting with demi-water does make it alot better/easier. Great video as always! Keep it up.

Yay, bsd is one of my all time favourites and even though the synthetic spray wax did a decent job, I'd still prefer bsd personally, best beading and sheeting from a detailer. Hope your well Heather and super comparison

Excellent, thanks! Top video all-round and I appreciate the side-by-side showing the darkening effect, rare to see such a difference on polished paint. I believe Sonax PNS has the same effect (and probably more durable) but SSW looks to be a bit easier to apply here - loving it.

I diluted the sonax and used it for a whole year still have a quarter lift realised that basically even when diluted 1 spry is enough for a whole panel and it will become much easier to use that way. I used it on the wheels it makes them shine better than the body of the car.

Great demo Heather. Be keen to hear if you have done any combo mixes, BSD can be a good mixer with some other quick detailers (that's how Elixir was born) -- might be worth seeing what happens when you combine the 2 you tested, with some distilled water and see if you get the best of both. BSD is def a lot thicker than most, and does behave better diluted.

Shout out to my local brand ADBL :D SSW is the easiest ADBL wax to apply. Lasts about 2-2,5 months on my car. So far I've been using: Interior WOW (banana-ish scent, last about week or so), Interior cleaner, Tar and glue remover, Tire and rubber cleaner, Vampire liqiud, Black water - all works fine for me exept for triggers... They are weak.

Hang on what’s that T-shirt! Thought you had a Gilly Wash one for a second 😂 That ADBL spray wax is mega for gloss and water behaviour, good durability too. Definitely a step up from any other ‘spray wax’s’ I’ve tried they are usually just glossy but not much protection.

Hahaha I didn't notice that on the t-shirt that's brilliant! I'm a big fan of the ADBL spray wax. Delivers on water behaviour in the same way as BSD but makes up for some of the shortcomings, namely the gloss and ease of application. Wish it was a touch slicker but would definitely be my preferred choice if I was to use one on my own car

Have used Sonax BSD for a while - found it gives pretty good protection but better when used sparingly, and is a sod to buff off if sun pops out on warmer days mid-application. (If panel gets warm, wet MF cloth or rewash panel is needed). Have found it to be a useful top-up on alloys too!

@AutoCareHQ

It does tend to attract dust a bit more than other products which are a bit slicker. It can be quite noticeable if it rains and then the water spots evaporate then they usually look a bit more dusty than normal. The ADBL one is pretty similar really. I'd say that's the main downside of both products
