Not us being Lady Macbeth and that spot being trauma. This podcast is a staple in my Sunday self care and this episode did not disappoint. Love and blessings from Trinbago!

I started journaling back in 2020 during the height of the pandemic, and it helped a lot. I still have a long way to go when it comes to healing, but it's a nice outlet to use when I need to get something out. I tell myself that once I write down how I feel, I'm going to let it go and move forward. I'm a chronic overthinker, so I know if I don't write down how I feel or talk to someone, I'll spiral. So, to other sisters out there, if you don't already, please give journaling a try! My best friend actually buys adult coloring books and colors, so that's an option too. Thanks for another awesome episode, ladies. It was much needed. ❤

I actually think its good to know that brothers are listening to podcasts like this, its helpful but I also think guys tend to approach weight loss from a standpoint of desirability, not health and well-being which is often a turn off. Women are already scrutinised in society for their appearance. But also not everyone has community.

Thank you ladies so much for this episode. I had quite a traumatic experience 2.5 years ago that pretty much destroyed life. I'm still trying to heal and recover from it and I feel like a failure for still not having my life together.

I feel for the sister with the dilemma. Pray she seeks further counsel and make a smart decision. I have had friends that constantly criticise and nitpick and that was annoying and also affects ones self esteem, now imagine that being your partner. Praying for that hun.❤️🙏🏾

Daughters of God by EGW is a good book. Lots of practical and spiritual gems. She's a good author and she really made me think. Thank you for the discussion Courtney and Renee! Insightful as usual🙏🏾

Films help me as well as dramas that relate to my lived or current experiences. I enjoy taking peaceful and relaxing walks in the park, reflecting, journalling, and reading. Music has also been a fundamental pillar in my healing journey as well as prayer. Another advice is to cultivate and focus on your hobbies, they will bear fruit in your life.

This is so good yet messy LMAO specifically the Dilemma. But all jokes aside both of them need to communicate their frustrations to one another. As for this podcast, I needed to hear from this. I know that I am still not fully healed from the pain I went through with my last ex boyfriend. But I know for sure eventually I am going to get better and stronger.

Semi-related to this theme... Have you read Maame by Jessica George?! It's the first book I've EVER read with a British-Ghanaian main character and really got me thinking about the trauma we normalise.
