Very nice explanation. Thank you❤. What is the need of inlet scrubber before gas entering into the contactor as already incoming compressed gas crosses the KOD of feed booster. compressor.

The inlet scrubber give the saturated gas one last opportunity to give up any water. Filter separators can also be used just upstream of the contactor to condense liquids and filter out any compressor lube oils, scale and other debris that might be in the flow stream.

Hi there. Thank you for the video. After the reboiler, what temp does the TEG need to cool down to before it's reused in the contact tower?
@KimrayInc
Жыл бұрын
After leaving the reboiler, the glycol needs to be cooled to below 200 degrees F (150 degrees F ideally) before it enters the glycol pump. After the glycol exits the pump, and before it enters the contact tower, it will need to be cooled to no more than 20 degrees F above the gas temperature.

Hi! Just wanna ask is it okay if we don't put a BTEX condenser in a glycol dehydration plant? What are the pros and cons of these?
@KimrayInc

I'll try to answer your question without giving direct "advice" on what you want to put in your plant. There are two options to deal with the BTEX and VOC (volatile organic compounds) that result from the gas dehydration process, you can condense or destroy them. A BTEX unit will condense the vapors into liquids and allow them to be sold. If a BTEX unit is not in place, all of the vapor must be destroyed by flare or combustor.

Why does the TEG need to be changed around 18 to 24 months?
@KimrayInc
2 жыл бұрын
After 18-24 months of operation, it will most likely need to be changed because of the contaminants and degradation of the glycol as it’s circulated through the system. The level contaminates, filtration and how the equipment is operated will help determine when TEG will need to be changed.
