Great, simple video. Loved the narration, was easier to focus unlike other videos

Why not just trim the upper plastic part? I think this bumper with the plastic trimmed would look better than the bumper from RC that’s meant for the gmc

Good eye! I thought about that while I was waiting for the replacement to come. I often just make things work, but had the idea to try not to hack it up. That being said, the correct bumper ended up having a 1” gap, so I’m thing I should have gone the way you suggested. The correct bumper is on and final video coming soon. Thanks for watching!

That stinks! I welded one for my Chevy instead of buying and it fit perfect. I considered the same bumper for my gmc but I didn’t like the top part of it, and considered just trimming the plastic to fit the chevy one. I was hoping that was what you did here when I came across your video lol. Send it back if it doesn’t fit. Rough county has great customer service from my experience.

Have you installed the right one yet? I'm looking to buy that same one for the gmc sierra

I have, but a little behind on uploading the video. Should be in about 2 weeks or so. The biggest difference will be walking through the window washer tank. All went well, but it takes time. Most difficult part was getting the new bumper to align and look even. Need to be patient with it. The bumper was also about 1” lower than the lights and grill. It looks fine, but I wish it was tight. Another watcher suggested using the Chevy bumper and custom cutting the original bumper cap. I think that would have worked nicely.
