Ingredients
240 grams All purpose flour
50 grams softened butter
125 grams sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp baking powder
Method
In a large bowl add sugar and butter and beat with a hand mixer. Add the egg and continue beating until light and creamy. Add the vanilla essence and combine well.
Add the baking powder to the flour and sift it to the butter mixture and make it to a soft dough.
Make equal size balls and flatten into the palm and
Dip in water and coat in sugar.
Place in a baking tray 2 inch apart and bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown around edges.
