guys its been one year, why are we still fighting over this one video? i understand how this may come out in an offensive way but i am asian and i do not feel offended at all. the creator has confirmed that the girls did not notice they bumped into the woman and they were laughing because the pink haired girls ate the flower. yes, i will admit that it wasnt very noticeable why they were laughing, but that is no reason to accuse them of straight up racism. i also notice many people saying that japanese/chinese people would never say mean stuff like that. i honestly disagree with this as an asian because race does not declare wether someone is nice or mean. everyone has different personalities and it isnt about where theyre from. i understand how the clothing may be off from how people would actually dress but yk i honestly dont see anything wrong with this because japanese clothing is really similar to other east asian countries in my opinion coming from a (hong kong) chinese and viet person. the creator has also stated they DO NOT have any hatred towards japan and they love japanese creators. by any means, i do not want to be rude to anyone at all and just want to answer questions and help clear things up since its been a full year since this video has been made. thank you for your time and have a great day 💗

it's basic human decency to apologize to someone after literally ruining their kimono (which was likely rented out from a rental shop, making it even ruder for the girls to laugh instead of realizing they bumped into someone as if they don't have the sense of touch.) And the explanation that they didn't realize they bumped into her is stupid and illogical unless they lost their sense of touch and minds. I see no reason to defend the girls. they are in the wrong for ruining the girl's kimono.

This trend is just problematic. So basically 2 tourists just start walking around, didn't pay attention, ruined someone's clothes and just start laughing and didn't even apologize first. Of course, the woman who's clothing was ruined and didn't even get an apology was rightfully mad, and finally got their attention and they didn't even say anything, they just stared at her, no apologies or sorry's, nothing. Seeing the two girls not even apologizing to her the woman stormed off. Next scene, we have the same 2 girls bowing at the woman and welcoming her. Now lets talk about the problem. The woman they're welcoming could probably be a whole different person, hell it could even be another american who just got back from doing other things in other countries, but who the woman is in my opinion doesn't even really matter, its the girls welcoming others to America that matters.(but it is quite weird since 'America' is a continent and not a country) Now the problems in the first scene. Many people said "The woman cut them off before they could apologize", which is false due to the fact that the dialogue text didn't even show them talking. "They didn't realised they bumped into her" The blue girl literally stared at the woman what in God's name are you guys even talking about? And how does one not realise that they have bumped into a person please enlighten me. Next the woman screams at them to god back to their countries and calls them freaks. This is of course taking it too far. Edit:I literally scrolled through the comments and i immediately see the creator reply to one of the comments saying and i quote "they didn't see her because of ✨GACHA LOGIC✨". Woman, man, person, whatever you are, do you not even realise the war you created in the comments? TL/DR: this trend is just problematic and stereotypical. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

The behavior is VERY VERY rude in most parts of Asia. To the black haired girl, it looked as if they were laughing at her getting hurt so she saw them as bad people. I'm not hating, just saying how the culture works.

Honestly, if I was chilling with my cupcake, with my fav outfit on. Just enjoying the view and minding my own business and 2 absent minded Walmart Shimmer and Shine looking girls just come and bump into me and also ruin my outfit along with my cupcake. Then they don't even apologize and start laughing,I would be pissed too.

She did have a good reason to be mad, she was just standing when two random white girls just came and pushed her and started laughing. That does sound like a good reason, I don't blame the girls either, Sense it was a misunderstanding.

This is kinda confusing bc the fact I’m Asian, and when they laughed when she got her cupcake on her face and made her mad, it gave me terrible flashbacks when people laughed at me for spilling ketchup.. 👁👄👁 I mean, the ending was nice, but the beginning is uhm- just something 🤡 and I don’t think this is helping because they’re probably laughing loud, and disturbing the other ppl around them. But I rlly like the trend either way, and we should all be treated an equal and never say “go back to ur country” cause that ain’t making sense lol- also nice ocs :)

Japan (Reality): **Foreigner bumps into a Japanese eating** Japanese: .... **wipes on clothes** Japanese: **walks away just clearly still eating the leftover food** no hate, just to clarify, Japanese are kinda shy to foreigners and most Japanese have broken English language but some of them speaks fluent Engrishu- I mean English 👍 I can clearly see the outfit she was wearing is a kimono ig? and there's a red bridge behind her soooo.... that *might* be in Japan I just learned stuff from Sora the Troll
