Join us this week on Aboard Mermaid Monster as we push off the dock super early and head South through the East River to New York City. Navigating through New York requires skill and intense focus. Watch as we receive word from the Coast Guard that there is a UN assembly and we had to reroute through the East River. It required going through a tricky and very congested waterway. For those of you wondering about the broken boat issue from last week, we take the time to address that as well! Our cruise through the city down to Liberty landing was great, however, upon arrival we were asked to dock in a nearly impossible slip. We have found that having a 55-60 ft yacht puts us right on the line for being shoved into slips that don’t really fit our boat. If we were even 62ft, we would be given slips that are too big for our yacht. Braden docked the boat like a boss. It was hands down his best docking yet. At one point we had 6 inches in front of the anchor and 6 inches behind the stern. Yikes!! Don’t forget to tune in every Sunday morning at 9am ET for a brand new episode!!
