Question: I'm a new programmer. Is Go a language that could dominate in the future in video game development? I here it's bullet fast etc... so why is Go not used to produce commerial PC games- Steam games etc? I'm working out starting my first official language to take on, that will not be out of date. Plan to build a game - without using a pre-game engine like Unity or Unreal etc.

Arrays can be variable too: [...]int{1,2,3,4,5} 😆

Yes indeed. Thanks for sharing. I didn't cover that since arrays aren't used too often especially among new programmers. And my video was starting to get pretty long lol.

It's probably a good side bar to mention in the next video.

11:29 u should have used copy() instead of using another slice to store that will be more information!

Cookie, thanks for commenting. Actually the way that I did it ensures that the new slice does not consume more memory. Here's an example play.golang.org/p/lhddPAN9cyr when I print the memory addresses you can see that the copied values of each slice have the same memory address because slices are a reference type and they are sharing the same underlying array. If I'm not mistaken, in order to use the copy function, you must first initialize a new slice which will create an entirely separate array which would consume more memory. Feel free to provide a code snippet if you have an example.

@@nameless_9504 can you provide a code snippet from Go Playground so I can see what you mean?
