Hey Jeremy, what about if you are a defense-men. I'm planning on switching to defense next year because of my body structure 6'1 and 140 pounds. I only started hockey two years ago, skating three, but from your amazing videos I was able to get the most assists on my team and even snipe a few genos. It would be really helpful if you could put up a video about tips and drills for defense-men. Fore example, how to block shots, deal with 2 v 1's, angling the offensive player to the corner, and etc. Thanks, I would appreciate a response;)

Some tips I can give you not saying I'm amazing or anything, but think I can help. Try and keep the players on their backhand they feel really uncomfortable on it and you know they're gonna try switching back to the forehand when they do that you should be able to read it and quickly get the puck. For 2v1s I'm not sure how skilled you are but you should know always stay in the middle and have an active stick, again if they're on their backhand let them take the shot and worry about the pass. If they're on their forehand get closer to the player with the puck and make sure you are in position to block the pass but still not let them skate pass you. Hope that helps a bit

Colin R Wow, thank you so much! This really helped;) I would also like to learn how to stick check and places to aim on the net when you are at the point ... But I guess there is only a certain point to where you can teach via comments. Once again, your explanation helped more than you thought it did :D

Colin had some good tips there. In regards to this video I say get closer to the net, which a defensemen can't do as easily, but getting closer to the center of the ice helps. It keeps the puck from missing wide and then rimming around the boards and the shot percentage from the middle lane is higher than from the outside. In regards to defensive tips I made a sheet for my team that you might like, I have uploaded it online and made a link to share with you drive.google.com/file/d/0B9a6bJaLRjHuQ1lBbURoSnZxWG8/edit?usp=sharing

some video ideas I dropped my stick/slashed out of my hand - what's the best way to pick it up? Gloves lose dexterity, plus slippery ice I want to ask for a pass, how do I get my stick to make that loud bang? (I know this now, but I had to be told) Skills for the various positions to improve player ability I'm a right handed person but feel more comfortable shooting with a leftie stick (or vice versa). How can I tell if it's just comfort or if my form/technique is wrong? Scrimmage footage focusing on a single person with voice-over commentary of why they are playing the way they're playing. Getting into hockey on a budget. (i.e. finding used gear, where to shop, league fees, skill evaluation skate, other considerations)

Hey Jeremy. I was wondering why my shots keep going over the top of the net. Like from a normal distance from the net (like anywhere from the top of the face off circles to the hash marks). Almost every time I shoot, it sails over the top of the net.

Hey Jeremy, I don't know how much you know about stick flex but I got a question. I'm 5'6 and weigh 161 lbs currently using a 65 flex Bauer Nexus, I was curious if I went down to a 60 flex would it help me more or hurt my shot? With my 65 flex I can rip some shot's. Any tips?

Well fist lets start off with the more closer you get to the net you don't see the open spots like coners or just inside the post and the goile will realize you have to juke him out when you get 5 feet away I think one of the best shots to take from is at the top of the hash marks or circle

Hey Jeremy, I think all your videos are awesome. Thanks for doing what you do. I have basically the same set up as you in my back yard on the grass.......you can check out my videos on my channel.....I just thought I'd run something by you. I've noticed on all your videos that you are shooting with your body square to the net. Cool thing, except, maybe you could do a video standing off to the side of the net, or shooting on an angle to the net. Because we all know that we are not always shooting straight on goal. Thanks!

I'm a little confused, if 42% of all goals were scored 15 feet or less from the net then that means 58% were scored from further out. That would say to shoot from 15 feet or further from the net.
