We are lucky the Spanish teams are having financial difficulties atm. He's the sort of player destined to slip off at a promising age. Assuming we get European football in some form (hopefully champions league), he will get plenty of first team football next season. He's not a like for like replacement for Auba, in which case he could've gotten in sooner.

There is so much more to a 'number 9' than banging in goals man. Gabby will be great for Arsenal but hes not an out an out striker. His best games for Arsenal have been on the left coming inside where he has space. He doesn't have the 'build' to be the main striker.
