Hello, Emily. If the heel has a substantial amount of growth you can clip it off level to the toes. It will more than likely be soft and easy to trim. 👍🏻

It happens! Do your best to get them trimmed down and keep up on them. Eventually, you will get to a point they will start to get better and will require a lot less work. It’s pretty common to get a goat or sheep with bad hooves.
