I believe the Lord is EXCITED to be seen and LOVED in and through each of us. Holy Spirit, I give You permission to remove self-righteousness and every lofty thing that would veil Your reflection and revelation; that would place itself before or above You, Lord God, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Love these short encouraging videos and how you remind us how simplistic and childlike we need to be with Father . We sometimes make entering into communion ,and continual communion with Him complicated. Grateful you said we live our of that . Everything comes out of our communion with Jesus ... Him first . ❤️ Appreciate you Eric, Many blessings to you. Praying one day God willing ,you'll be coming to Covington ,La or near.

The "fasting" Jesus does uses Greek words used throughout Greek writings for living off the plants of the desert. Matthew is the only one who records this, whose particular gospel slant/emphasis is to prove Jesus was a Rabbi, an approved Jewish teacher for the Jews. This was BEFORE he started his ministry to the JEWS, and such "fasting" would thus be viewed as faithfulness to the Law & rabbinical "teaching/traditions of the elders" to "fulfill all righteousness" just as his baptism by John was. The only other references to fasting are the very earliest JEWISH form of the church that by 49-55 AD (Galatians) Paul had completely set aside and even criticized "so-called pillars of the Jewish church" for, even calling Peter a hypocrite. It took awhile for the early churches to let go of their Jewish rituals. Gentile churches were never taught to do fasting or any other Religious ritual. "Offering our bodies as living sacrifices" is now our liturgy (Romans 12:2). Paul taught a LOT to Gentiles against Jewish practices, many also common to pagan religions. Fasting is one of them. Elemental teaching from elemental spirits (demons) per Paul & Peter.

The earliest, most accurate manuscripts do NOT have the phrase "prayer and fasting" anywhere in the NT. We have later Byzantine copies (made by Catholic monks) that add "and fasting" in the margins to "prayer" to fit their current monkish fasting practice. Then later monks took these copies and moved "and fasting" from the margins into the text so that all copies from then on have "prayer and fasting." So in really, regarding the demon that would not come out for the disciples told them "this kind comes out only by prayer." He was NOT teaching fasting! This would contradict his teaching to his disciples and John the Baptist's that fasting is part of the "old wine skins that you can't put the new (neos) wine into." We know that the New (kainos = completely different in kind) Covenant is all about the new wine = néos - new ("new on the scene"); recently revealed or "what was not there before" (TDNT), including what is recently discovered. It's about the blood of Jesus and his indwelling holy spirit, from other verses. The only time his disciples would fast was to mourn his death, but once they got the joy of his resurrection and the joy of the Spirit, there is no need to fast. That is Paul's point in Colossians 2 to non-Jews & Jews both caught up in religion - the blood of Jesus & the Spirit is ALL that is needed to curb the indulgence of the flesh. Look to no other practices, even if they have an appearance of wisdom.

Mmmm. I think you need to look into the manuscripts more..the older “more accurate” manuscripts you speak of are the ones found in Egypt and the most complete of what is known as the critical text your are referring to is the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus which are both Catholic manuscripts lol. The Byzantine manuscripts have less variance between each other than the critical text. The Byzantine manuscripts were located in Antioch….do you think the cleaner manuscripts were held with the early church in Antioch or were the manuscripts found in Egypt, where there was a huge gnostic school teaching heresies?! The Antiochian Byzantine texts have always been the cleanest.

@@WordMadeFlesh777 the UBS and Nestle-Aland text are almost always more accurate. The older text are almost always mire accurate. Archeology almost always favors the older texts. Later texts are copies of copies. They can see stuff move from the margins into the texts. Now with cameras they can see older text that was washed and the errors moved into later texts.

@@WordMadeFlesh777 i was a catholic. it is an echo chamber like so much mainstream medis. the dictates of a authoritarian church are hard to resist so the monks did little independent scholarship, unlike Martin Luther. Almost everytime, you find the church has been shoveling you propaganda. If you REALLY study textual criticism, you will find the "similarity" of the Byzantine texts to simply be drilled in traditions dictating the translation and simply copies of errors but pronounced as text. Dark Ages indeed. NET bible online notes picks up on lot of manuscript stuff but you have to get into critical commentaries. It really is a mess. 4000 textual differences that are real game-changers just in the NT. Religious bias is a killer over the years. Personally i believe the bible being codified is the result of religious men who know longer are taught by the Holy Spirit (1 John 2:20, 27, Acts 2:17-19). spiritmusicmeetups.org/bible-info/

Eric I love your depth of your relationship with the lover of our soul! 🩸 but I’m frustrated why isn’t anyone teaching or sharing about the desperate need for our soul to believe and enter into the reality of everything is new, our souls need deliverance by our Holy Spirit and healing from the other life that was! I struggled for over 40 years with attacks from the liar 🤥 After a seven day and night anointing of HIS power everything has changed for me no more do his lies have any hold on who I truly am! Look around brother how many pastors brothers sisters struggle with sin! Ask yourself and the holyspirit why is this happening if our souls are healed and delivered then why do people fall into sin? Because brother even though we are saved our souls( memories) need to be wiped out erased and a new download of truth revelation (Ephesians 1:17-23) then the liar 🤥 has no hold and then we truly are set free! Please teach share in courage people to ask our father to bring the church into the freedom of the love ( height, depth, width, breath,) of his love! Freedom from the toothless liar 🤥!
