Sometimes it takes listening to other people's testimonies to see that indeed the God that we serve is POWERFUL! I do not want to walk ahead of God so that he shuts the door on me, I also do not want to walk behind him so that he gives the opportunity to someone else. I want to walk besides him and be obedient and attentive to how he orders my steps.

I am from Slidell, la! Thank you for helping my community during a very difficult time. I have been watching your videos since about 2018. We travel a lot for work which makes it difficult to have a church home. But we started attending Elevation online since about 2020. Last year, 2023, we joined an egroup, and, we participated in our first end of year giving. We were working in Lake Norman a few months in 2023 and even got to attend a sermon in person. I can't tell you how much this church has helped me grow my faith as a newer Christian. Y'all are impacting the world and saving lives! Thank you for all you do!

The part that stood out for me was asked God.. and let him work. I always do but never wait for the answer. That's the inpatient part of me as a man. I think a lot of us men do this. because we feel that we need to do it not God. so when that happened I know a lot of turmoil and spinnery... starts going over and over and over again in my mind in my heart and in my life and I know. that it has to change for me. Then God can work my miracle. instead of me stopping the growth of what he has for me.... so this time around I will ask and wait and let him work...

This message pop up as a suggested video to watch at just the right time for me. I am in the middle of making a total Lifestyle change , house, income, a relationship, family. Just this morning in my morning's prayer was for my heart, thoughts and actions be clear and exact with what God wants not what I think or feel He wants. That I act swiftly to the Holy spirit whispers. My finances are a mess. Then this mesaage pop up prompting me to watch, He is reminding me Everything I have ( as little as it ) is actually His and just loaned it to me. He is prompting me to trust in faith to tithe. I wish I had listen sooner to a friend that suggested while back that I tithe even when my finances were failing. Your mesaage was posted 2 years ago but like the Rock's that remained, God is using for another in thier season. Thank you for being in the middle of what God is doing.

I like how he always says what he means when he says he heard from God. For so long, i was waiting for an audible voice from God (and wondered if i wasn't his sheep when i didn't hear an audible voice). I like that explained that it was a prompting for him. I'm beginning to understand it could be different for different people. Thanks for explaining pastor. For me, one of the most impactful stones, pastor Steven talked about, was the story of John the Baptist. I also want to be part of what God is doing and I'm prompted to follow through and manage my miracle, rather than waiting for what i think God should give me (i.e. moving instead of trying to control the order of my blessings)

This sermon has not left my KZitem Recommended page for now 3 weeks so I watched it again. Each time, the prompt I Hear from God is "Go Back". As I was recently released from a church that doesn't do anything they say and lies regularly, is run by only 2 elders where 1 is the Pastor and the other the pastor's brother, and God blessed me tremendously immediately after I left the Church and got me halfway to the ministry I feel He is having me start, this is understandably uncomfortable. Especially when other local pastors state the pastor of this church runs his church like a cult leader would. So as I've been trying to help them grow closer to God and their leadership has refused to listen for 10 months, I'm hesitant. So I am sure God wants me to go back, even just briefly hopefully, and He wishes me "to speak so they can grow closer to Me" (God). Prayers welcomed for comfort and confidence as I go and do.

The Need for Self-Discipline 24Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

James 1:5 Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. Jeremiah 33:3 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” Mark 9:24 Beloved Father, in the Name of Jesus send your Holy Spirit to open my eyes and understanding to what you want me to do in this season.
