I think you are probably right about the Godfather 1 and 2, being the best films of all time. One of the reasons they are so great is because it subtly tells the great truth that evil doesn't workout for the evildoer, we don't get away with anything.

The scene with Solozzo the Turk speaking in a Sicilian accent is easily the most memorable in all of the three Godfother movies. The face, the gesticulation, the accent... amazing to anyone who's ever been to southern Italy. May you rest in peace for all eternity, Al.

Thank you again for paying tribute to another recognizable character actor that many of us know but sometimes can't remember their name. Mentioning the Godfather, another great character actor from those films is John Cazale, a phenomenal actor who left us way too soon...

OMG, I’m 64 years old and until I saw this video I didn’t realize the actor in the Godfather was the one and the same with the actor I liked in many other movies. I had only recognized the MUSTACHED version of Al Lettieri! Thanks so much Steve!

The Sallozzo scene in which he spoke perfect Sicilian was one of the most memorable. Godfather 1 & 2 definitely two of the best films ever produced. Would love to see a bio on James Caan who sadly passed just over a year ago. Thanks for these bio tributes. Loved everyone of them.

Favorite movie The Godfather. Saw it 3 times on the same day same theater. He was a good actor and very believable in his roles. I can't help but believe whether only acting that some roles are stressful and might contribute to some health issues. Your body doesn't know you're only acting a part. Good video.

No doubt Actors really want to showcase their acting skills and chops and hopefully be known for more than just one particular role...but if you had to be remembered for one, "The Turk" was absolutely a keeper to be sure! I've seen other "Heavies, Bad Guys AND Gals" away from the camera as they were interviewed or were just having conversations on film and as always they ALL seemed so down to Earth and very enjoyable people. I'm of a mind that Mr. Lettieri was the same too! Terrible to hear and read about their ages being so young too when they leave this realm. I did SMILE BIG TIME at your opening "My Three Stooges" HELLO HELLO HELLO! I'll have that tune looping in my brain all day now...Thanks Steve🤣 MOO From COW-lumbus, Ohio 👋
