You can truly tell it is a _traditional_ card game from the hilariously over-complicated scoring rules😆 Thanks for the video!

Fun fact: Nintendo was founded in 1889 as a manufacturer of Hanafuda (Japanese flower cards) and karuta (general playing cards).

As a Hwatu player for over 40 years, this video is the best hwatu rule explanation in English. Believe me this is the best! This will help people who want to learn the game. This video shows 광박 and 피박 😆😆 amazing !

That is so nice to hear. I was somewhat nervous to make this video, knowing the game is beloved by so many for so long. I didn't want to show it poorly, and I am so happy to hear you think it went well :)

와우~~~ 넘 멋집니다. ^^ 드디어 한국전통 화투가 보드게임으로 새로 태어나나요? 대박나길 기대합니다. 어디 방송에라도 소개되었음 좋겠습니다. 너무 잘만들었습니다.

Interesting little twists they put in this game to incorporate victory tiles and whatnot. In S. KOREA, this game is played with money and i wouldn't play it without the gambling aspect (similar to Hold em). BUT, this will make a bunch of grannies happy knowing that the card game is getting a revamp and possibly popular outside that demographic (although good luck implementing the new rules and penalties).

This is a great video. I really enjoyed watching. He shows almost everything the events possibly can happen during the go- stop game in this short video. I wonder if he planned some of them before the game. If he does, he is a genius!😊

I used a shuffle for the first round, and got lucky with the Ghost event. In the second round I fully stacked the deck to force the rest of the events that you saw :)

Because he put down a lucky card from his hand cards before he started his turn, he must draw a card for the lucky card replacement. Then he played his turn. Yellow player did played correctly.

So this is basically Hanafuda with extra steps? Edit: Can you do a video on Hanafuda?

I think it's unlikely I'll make a Hanafuda video, since this video was sponsored by a publisher in order to make it happen.

Yes. It’s like poker, where you need to play a lot of games. The true skill comes when to stop or go.

@@BlueSapphyreyou are right. Many Asians believe that good game should have luck 7 , skill 3 like Mahjong. That makes beginners have fun as well as skilled players. Beginner think that Gostop is purely luck dependent game. However, If you play against real skilled Go stop players, you never beat the game. There are many crazy skilled players everywhere in Korea. Very few skilled players can control 70% luck of the game.
