Hey UmaiPixel! I love your videos! You taught me how to use Godot! Do you think you can make a video on melee attacks? Like for example, when a player clicks, they play an animation and deal damage to an enemy that got hit by said melee attack.

@UmaiPixel Hi ! Thank you for this trick ! i used to play with the Modulate property and i realise it's a resource consuming way of doing it. I didnt find video tutorials yet about : how to enable/disable a shader on a character when some action are triggered ? how to tweak a shader at runtime ? how to swap shaders on a character at runtime ? I know i'm not the only one, but i would be interested by such tutorials. Thank you to anyone pointing me in the right direction, with links or whatever :D

I like how this saves on animation, but what if my goal is to swap out colors in a palette? like if I want to be able to change the ninja's skin to a few different tone options or the clothing to specific colors.

Umai thank you for this tutorial, this was great.! However am I allowed to be greedy and ask for another tutorial where this same grayscale shader flashes every-time our hero is at low health?

Is there a way to do this with self modulate ? I'd like to avoid creating a shader just to turn an icon black and white

Is Godot 3 3D coding API easy, medium or hard to learn?
