How do you setup snipers in fos project because mine its biggy i mean all I done is parented it to the right hand so when the chamber anim plays its dont work the sniper moves with the hand as it chambers so yeah idk what im doing maybe i need animation rigging idk id like someone to let me know thanks

First, GLTF bakes animations normally when exporting with constraints, unlike FBX. After export should be several animations in the AnimationPlayer: movement of hands and of weapon separately (and some others). Just copy the animation keys for the weapon bones from only weapon animation and paste them into the animation with hands ("Copy Tracks" button in AnimationPlayer)

tbh i luv this showcase cuz it shows how much u can do with godaddy now also one thing id recommend which u dont have to take in consideration just thought it would look better,if the sniper lens was a tiny bit translucent and not 100% shiny or if the lens wasnt 100% perfect and clean but it had some small scratches or wasnt completely clean

Yes, I tried to do this thing using noise on normals but it was textured crookedly and when I tried to fix it with a triplanar my fps dropped 10 times. I'll try to come up with something. (Finally I'll make a texture)

They aren't high actually. The game doesn't have much content yet so... I think 4 GB RAM preferable, video RTX 1050 (4 GB+ Mem speed) and 10-20 GB free space (not sure yet)

@@ortyrxz the renderer is slow, Gdscript is awful, memory consumption is rocket high, the physics is terrible and just wait until you get to multiplayer stuff. I like Godot as an engine for littlest indie projects and game jams but if you want to make a 3D FPS game then please, at least try Unity

@@sunofabeach9424 1. Performance is better than unity. Road to vostok was ported from unity to godot and there was a sizable jump in performance. 2. GDScript is far superior than what any other engine has. C# is a managed language, not a scripting one. Thats one of the biggest reasons i left unity. Faster iterations, easier to learn, better integration into the engine etc. Ofcourse you can still use c# for performance intensive stuff in godot. Unity doesnot give you option to get best of both worlds. 3. Memory consumption is good. Show evidence to support your claim. My evidence is check Road to Vostok port. 3. Everyone uses jolt physics with godot, which is industry standard. Its as simple as turning on a switch. If you cant do that, i guess its time to leave game dev. 4. Multiplayer is nothing special in godot, but i have no issues with it compared to unity. Ofcourse there are other things where unity absolutely sucks, like stability, access to engine modules, and the company behind it. It shouldnt be used for anything. Use godot for 2d or low fidelity and use unreal for high fidelity. Throw unity in the bin whete it belongs.
